Non of those lines look Honda to me.
|
I realize it’s camouflaged on purpose but absolutely none of that looks even the slightest bit good. Massively turned off right now.
|
Wow that looks massive.

If that's all camo, they did a good job with it. |
It looks like a current CTR with a duct tape body kit to me :iono:

Amazing how different it looks when they cover up the 198 fake vents!

Looks like a Honda Accord Type R. I'm personally holding off though until the Odyssey Type R.

also minus the fake vents in the rear is a plus. also loved how they stretched out and better integrated the c pillar with the rest of the rear end (simplified by lessening the effect of the kink and making the beltline flat while also integrating the trunkline with the outline of the window) creases arent as aggressive this time around which im all for. everything these days is too dyanmic. again appreciate toning it down in the front but from a side view the front looks a little lumpy/chunky up top between the headlights overall well done i think. a type r version i think would be slick |

God, I want to put a wing and aftermarket headlights on my car, wrap it in camo, and see how many articles come up about my next model year whatever car they think it is.
With mystery comes collossal power! |
Reminds me of a baby version of the new rsx/tsx a-spec which is not a bad thing

I was going to wait and see what it looks like before making a decision. At this point, I might just actually consider buying the 20 if the next R looks like that. Too much Accord in it.

The CTR is ugly. I wouldn't even call it aggressive, just ugly and fake like the new Zupra. I prefer this new one if it looks remotely like the renders, not that I'd buy one anyways. US Type-R's died after 2001 ;) |

You're welcome to appreciate how it looks. But fake is fake, that's not really an opinion - it's a fact. Most people would also consider it very aggressive and tacky looking. And I can't help but think that nobody thinks this car's design will age well.
And historically speaking, Type Rs have had none of that in their styling. Function over form. Handsome and understated styling. |
lol guess for my generation especially being into gundams/mecha, the type-r, or rather the current civic gen's front end in general, has always looked pretty cool. not handsome perhaps, but still fun to look at :) i could care less about "fake" as long as it looks good or cool..

Who is most people to you? The people on this forum haha. The only thing tacky here is your attempts at knocking something you don't like. |

Honda was even doing a collab with Evangelion, I'm not sure how far it went though. It's clear they know who they are selling to, and it ain't many people on this forum. |

And it'll be spun into some kind of buzzword for an advanced mechanical diff or next gen turbo or something. |
