Spotted a new Asphalt FR-S in Isla Vista ~ (I believe its the third one in UCSB; second was my friend's Orange FR-S and assuming my Argento was the first)

I would be too scared to leave my new FR-S in I.V.

Seen too much damage done to nice cars out there by the other drunkards that roam around there.

I suppose if thats where you live you don't have too many options. Just keep the car as far from DP as possible.

When I used to party in IV people would kick cars mirrors backward every single time, happened to my WRX but didnt cause any damage

haha yeah i know, but im on picasso - pretty far from dp and i have a parking spot for the building so its cool
plus its under a cover :]

I was just up in Santa Barbara last weekend for Fiesta, decided not to take the FRS because of parking in Goleta.

Good to know next time I make a run up there I know that there will be a few brothers. I'll hit you up Bonburner to use your parking spot. :D

Met the guy who owns the raven fr-s in santa barbara - hes a sales consultant at Toyota of SB!

Rode in his A/T, damn things shifts so fast it felt like a CVT

Seems like a high percentage of sales consultants end up getting one...
It almost makes me believe the staff was sad to see mine go :)

I saw a Firestorm drive by Vons awhile back in La Cumbra Plaza, but other than that haven't run into anyone else around SB.

Yeah I have no clue who the red FR-S belong to .. I've been told that the first FR-S was sold to an old man, he walked in and walked out immediately it came into the dealers haha

If you wanna meet the guy with the orange FR-S and me we hang out at home depot parking lot at hollister and storke fridays 9:30 until roughly 11 or 12 just hanging out.

Saw a whiteout FR-S in the car corral at the historic races at Laguna Seca yesterday, near the pantera/fiat/alfa area

About to buy a WRB BRZ Premium. I go to UCSB as well, maybe we can meet up sometime next month for a shoot! (Photography is one of my hobbies as well.)

P.S. bonburner, I've seen your FR-S around in IV. turned lots of heads when it first came out. There's another argento FR-S with a license plate RDX 4 TDM in IV, idk if that's you though.

About to get my FRS soon too. I live on Picasso too! what a small world.

Most likely from Longo Scion and most likely by the end of this month or the 1st week of May. I'm leaning towards the Whiteout and probably going to keep it stock for awhile until I can get my hands on more funds lol. Your name sounds familiar, I knew some asian guy named Kelvin when I took Chem 1B during Freshman year. I faintly remember him saying he lived in the 626 area too.

Whiteout's a nice color! My favorite color that the FR-S comes in. I think I'm getting the JDM exhaust tips, clear side markers, and the vg shark fin antenna. Been saving money :D UCSB Alumni license plate mandatory.

No, I never took 1B, maybe that was someone else. I'm getting my BRZ out of state it looks like. All the dealers in socal are still selling this car at least 1k over MSRP..

They have an amazing white frs in the show room with aftermarket taillights, body kit and rims. I know this because that's where I got my car. Ask for Mel if you do go, very cool guy.
