Another GT86 limited edition, just for the Japanese market?

I'd buy it. My next 86 is going to be bright colour for sure, probably whatever I can get cheapest though.

Somebody on here mentioned this back when the Black Edition "concept" was shown at the Tokyo auto show. They drew the same parallel between the AE86 Black and the 86 Black being the end of the line for the model (as it is now). Don't remember what thread it was in but it stands out in my memory because all the clickbaits said they were introducing the next gen car and then all they showed was the Black Limited and Supra.


This is a very, very, VERY rare example when I agree with Motor1's implied assessment of things.

If they are going black and gold it absolutely HAS to have the decal on the hood...

For the US market they could call it the "East Bound and Down" edition.

Well, technically it wasn't Georgia's fault it was Coors because their beer (Coors Banquet) had no preservatives and wasn't pasteurized and had to be refrigerated during transit and storage so wasn't sold outside a certain distance from the factory in Colorado.
