The tour of LA was a blast. The Toyota museum was pretty cool. All in all I had the time of my life. I would love for this tour to be a stepping stone for much more to come. The the ones that missed it, I wish you could have all joined us. Can't wait for the pictures!!!

Thanks everyone for making this happen (drivers)

I was the guy in the "I love JDM" shirt

Sall 08-06-2012 12:01 AM

it was amazing at the freeway riding next to the lfa's evryone staring at us .60 + frs.... awesomeeeeee

JohnnyP 08-06-2012 12:03 AM

Great day! Thanks go out to Moto, the Club4Ag crew, Longo Scion Crew and Young from FiveAxis. This event would not have been what it was without the hard work of a great group of people.

Only question is..... how long are the windshield vinyl's staying on?

Mine is crooked as hell (my fault) so I'll be taking it off before next week. Just need to figure out how lol

JohnnyP 08-06-2012 12:08 AM

My past experiences have proven that glass cleaner (windex) and a razor blade work ok. But I'm sure someone else has a better idea.

Grateful Dave 08-06-2012 12:12 AM

Great 86/FRS/BRZ event! Thank you Moto, Thank you Jeff at Longo Scion.:thanks:

Style 08-06-2012 12:16 AM

Thank you Moto and team, was an awesome day. The only thing that sucked was the fact that I was alone since I got on the 405. So basically it was just 1 frs the whole time for me :( sucked pretty bad. Oh well maybe next time it'll be different

Don't know how long but I plan on keeping it on for some time. That way we can spot everyone from the club :)

Because I work for Clermont Toyota i will have to take off the longo part of the decal.

You work for Claremont Toyota? Tell them to stop adding stuff like leather and heavy 18's to all their cars!

Yes it has, but doing it SEMA week would be epic! Plus I'll already be there that week so it works out for me.

I have been out of work on workmans comp because of a back injury so i haven't even seen one dropped off yet! My dealership is shit dude! That's why I'm going to go back to Irvine Toyota. But anyway the leather looks nice thats why I got it in my car. They always try to put rims on and over charge for them.

Snozzberries 08-06-2012 01:40 AM

Ever since hearing about this I wished LA was closer. I think there is only one other FR-S in my area that has an actual driver and not just someone who wants a good looking car.

Is your back any better, or do you just have to manage the pain? Back issues are no joke...I hope you get better soon.

whataboutbob 08-06-2012 01:49 AM

Today's event was AWESOME!

Thank you Moto, Longo, Scion, everyone who helped put on this event, and all of the sponsors. Oh yeah, thank you Toyota for a great car!!!

I had a GREAT time, everyone I met and spoke to was friendly. Epic drive.

Bob

Yeah its a lot better thanks for asking. Had a MRI and they just found it was a torn upper back muscle and 2-3 months later I'm now think I'm ready to go back to work. I never knew back problems effect a person so much. See the doctor on Tuesday and hope he releases me with in a week or few days.

Ray@Carsmo 08-06-2012 02:05 AM

Thanks to everyone who made it happen! It was definitely great meeting alot of fellow FR-S/BRZ owners and discuss modifications. We need more of these meets!

Same here, I was alone from the 405 after LAX all the way down to PCH then Mulholland and back to El Monte. Although I did take a different route through Los Flores up the mountain. Sick drive. Thanks to @jinrawke for the heads up on that.

Anyways, thanks to Moto and the crew for doing this. Toyota for letting us see the museum. Troy and Young from 5A: D for those spoilers they gave away. Beat-Sonic was great too. Thanks to anyone else I missed. There were a lot of people. Hard to keep track. lol

It was also great meeting everyone I hadn't met before as well. Definitely looking forward to the next event!

speedracer38 08-06-2012 02:30 AM

I really wish I could have joined everyone today! I was heading southbound on PCH when all the cars were heading north into Malibu. I was waving at you all in the SWP BRZ Limited with CT plates.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that was all alone lol. I think a few more stops would have been nice so that the few of us wouldn't have gotten separated lol.
