There must be some kind of limit to equine beatings in here, especially when they have passed.

Pure gold. I need to meet some of these members in real life. On second thought nevermind. I might hang myself due to frustration.

Do you think your post is actually helpful? Please be more specific if you're actually trying to help.

Where would you like me to connect the MM? What does the black lead connect to? What does the red lead connect to? Post a photo. What measurement am I looking for?

As for the other useless posts, It appears no one actually has any clue about how to fix this.

Just call the dealership and have them take care of it

soundman98 11-23-2019 10:40 AM

time to open your velcro wallet on the chain, and let someone else look into it.

During my travels I have met 70 or 80 of the members from all across the US and Canada in person. Every single one of them has been great and I have formed friendships that will last a lifetime even if the cars change. This is not surprising since the sociopaths don't tend to want to meet other people or hide away in large groups so you don't notice them. In this particular case I have little doubt that even a large group would ignore the wingnut by now.
Meet as many as you can since it is rewarding and the likelihood of running into a keyboard warrior in person is remote.

Guys, you are entertaining the OP. You know that he will create another thread again if you keep flooding his threads, right? There is an off-topic lounge

I hate seeing people getting insulted even if they call for it. Just ignore please.

While I would typically agree, this guy deserves it

Can i trade lives with someone complaining? This doesn't even rank in the top 50 of the most inane questions/thought processes i have to deal with most days.

I didn't even realize that this was a different thread from the last one.

Tell me about it.

Yes, that's an Allen wrench set in her hand and she was working on her sisters bike, when she ask me a question about adjusting the brakes. She said that it was the worst design ever - :iono:

to be fair, rim brakes are a pain to adjust, as the arm spring tension is never equal, and they rarely apply straight.

Good point.

Although she thought the design was worst ever, she did appreciate that she could easily see if the pads were worn - even while riding it -

I see no solutions via Google besides replacing the mirror with some ricer mod.
Prefer to keep the car stock.

I'll bite.

1) how did you determine it does not dim?
2) do you know how the mirror works to be auto-dimming?
3) why does a solution involve a ricer mod? is swapping to another factory auto-dimming rear mirror not a solution, since you prefer to keep the car stock?
4) do you have tint on your rear windshield?

Seriously, why did you start another thread for this? are you new to the internet or something?

Whaaaat, no helmet, gloves boots or safety glasses.

Next time please wrap in the attached for safety sake, because everyone knows, plastic bags and kids is good safety advice.

No, you can't, because clueless stanceBro CamberKings.
Does even one person on this clueless forum knows how to fix the mirror ?
Nope.

1) Because the lights in my rear-view are blinding me. When i press the power button on and off, nothing in the mirror brightness changes.
2) I don't understand your question. English, please.
3) I would replace the mirror with a factory replacement, if I was able to somehow determine the mirror is broken. Yes, I prefer to avoid ricer mods.
4) No.

Nope.

'Cuz it ain't broke.

The dimming is not extreme and hardly noticeable.

You just expect more from it than it does.

If you want to replace it with a non "rice" version go to Subaru and order a new OEM one.

People told you this.

It is really that easy.

You don't want to listen.

EDIT: COOL! I captured the real statement before you wimped out and edited it! Wonder what @Dave-ROR thinks of your original statement?

GrantedTaken 11-28-2019 10:43 PM

Like I said, the mirror power button makes ZERO. DIFFERENCE.
Mirror no worky.
Not gonna just go buy another mirror until I can verify what is wrong.
Mirror, power, wiring, etc.

Wondering if even one person on this bodyKit and LED Bulbs forum knows how to troubleshoot anything
