Abused while shipping?

Hello everyone, new and first post of this forum. Few weird things going inside my head. You guys are the only way I can clear all those issue. I am just 2-3 months away to buy a brand new 86 and I am from New Zealand. I heard car gets abused while do shipping from Japan assembly centre to our dealers. What is your opinion on this case? How much I have to worried about this kind of cases. Thanks in advance.

Impureclient 07-16-2019 08:13 PM

You mean sexually? Don't worry about it. Just get the car tested for any STDs (sexual transmission defects) and just wipe the interior down with some disinfectant.

dnieves 07-16-2019 08:46 PM

you mean like donuts and tear outs when it rolls onto the dock for the first time?

Mr.ac 07-16-2019 08:57 PM

My car was a rescue. It was fingered by a preppy teenage boy till his buddy's give him shit for fingering a car of color.

I came in and treated my car as a proper sports car. It had the shitty tires and ***gy hella fuck stance look along with lame ass drift charms.

My car as sever ptsd when ever it's next to "stance" cars. My car feels safe along side my MR2 turbo only because it's been in wars and killed a few V8s in its life. If it wasn't for my MR2 my BRZ would have committed suicide.

That being said, I highly recommend you never to buy 86. Spend your money elsewhere. You don't need all this drama of a suspected molested 86. Some will never tell you they been abused they will live with it for all its life and it will show its ugly self one day.

Sadly most the abuse is brought on because they dress super sexy. Those sexy lines and those sweeping curves will make any person want to get inside them and ride them hard.
I admit at times I do become rough with her, enough to where her tires screem. But she's cool with it from time to time.

So yeah. Don't bother with 86.
Get a proper V6 or V8 sports car. Even a turbo 4 banger is way better than a molested 86.
Best of luck to you.

Impureclient 07-16-2019 09:02 PM

Hold up, OP said weird things. Sex with cars and doing donuts isn't weird. I think he meant like licking the tailpipe like people are doing now with ice cream.
Maybe weirder like hiding notes in the car on how the demons that haunt their dreams tell them to wear women's undergarments, never bathe and seek out what is in Area 51!

Tcoat 07-16-2019 09:10 PM

Can it happen? Yes. Does it happen? Probably. Is it common? No.
People love their cars and think everybody else do as well. Keep in mind that the people moving these cars around during shipping do it hundreds of times a day. It is their job. If they screw up too often they lose that job so they take it easy on the cars. When you get a new car with 20 or so miles on it there simply is nothing that they could have done to hurt it in any way in the few minutes they drove it. Car are shipped with just enough fuel in the tank to make it through the shipping process. There isn’t enough to go on prolonged red line joy rides.
Don’t worry about what your new car has been through since it will be a boring mundane experience.
Never buy a demo car unless it is dirt cheap. Those poor things can be beat to hell very quickly.

Impureclient 07-16-2019 09:14 PM

Yeah @Tcoat pretty much summed it up and ruined all the fun. Still wipe that tailpipe since there's no telling who had their tongue all up in there.

DarkPira7e 07-16-2019 09:26 PM

PPI. Pre purchase inspection. Don't hand the dough over until you've OK'd the car. it's simple :)

It was a reasonable question.
Just hope that this dude isn't the delivery driver. He apparently get's around.

Adam_L 07-16-2019 09:47 PM

I thought he was trying to fix something broken on his rear bumper . The Chester Molester of the car world, in da Ghetto !!! He must like those HOT tail pipes !

extrashaky 07-16-2019 10:38 PM

Don't listen to any of these people. The 86 is a slut. She asked for it and enjoyed it.

Hello alone1i and welcome to our "funny" forum -

Congratulations on your decision to purchase a new 86 -

As @DarkPira7e mentioned, just do a close pre acceptance visual inspection of the car.

Relax, you are just suffering from the pre purchase jitters. Prozac and/or *** oil may help - :D

not sure why you are worrying about something you have zero control over. pop a xanax or something and enjoy your car when you get it.

alone1i 07-17-2019 04:21 AM

Hahahaaaa... thank you all guys. you guys made my day :-)
@Tcoat, thank you for explaining everything. That is the answer I was looking for. My dealer told me same thing but I prefer you guys than anyone from shop :-)
@humfrz, thank you. I think u understand exactly what is going on inside me. I am waiting since 2012 for this car, the only reason I wanted to buy it new bcos it is my dream to own one brand new and I will keep it till I die or car die. I may sounds funny but that is me i guess :/

86MLR 07-17-2019 05:12 AM

There is no way in hell the delivery guy could have abused my 86 more than me.

I punish that thing daily, it loves it.

As for sexually transmitted diseases, mine has the protection of Toyota badging, it's the Subaru varieties that get the STI, symptoms include broken ringlands and loss of oil.

Don't sweat, it's probably been driven by a priest..

Yeah I heard he drives TRD's anyways...

86MLR 07-17-2019 07:13 AM

I don't like the term TRD, I prefer intellectually challenged.

It was meant to be the big pile up from the T86RS in NZ

It's late, and I've had a few drinks......

Actually, the link works for me, big crash, lots of cars, one burns to the ground, after crossing the finish line....

Weird

Also, OP, my car is a demonstration model rescue and I got it with 300 miles on it. It doesn't get much more abusive than that lol. No issues so far other than the ones in my head.

Here is a thought for you. The dealer may abuse you when you go pick up your 86. Better story worrying.:bonk:

From what I've read, yes the porter got in your car wearing dirty work pants, farted in the drivers seat, and cold started and redlined the car off the dock without caring about warming the car up.

Huan 07-23-2020 01:04 PM

yes, it's completely true, as i know all shipping company do their best for the best reviews, so when you are looking for a shipping company just check reviews on any website

Well since he was talking about the manufacturer shipping his car I doubt reviews or looking at other companies would be of any help at all.
