Vegas weekend of 8/24?
 

So apparently, by coincidence, a few members here are going to be in Vegas on the same weekend August 24th - 26th. @Fish @oso_25 @Trojan_SC

Just wanted to see if there's any others that plan on going that weekend? We didn't plan on driving our FR-S' there but if there's a sizable amount of people, I'd be interested to drive mine and meet up with the Vegas owners.

Nah, I'll be there first weekend in October for NPPL (paintball tournament). Hope you guys have fun.

That weekend is Formula Drift at the LVMS. Gates open during main event day at 4pm on the 25th. Qualifiers are on the 24th.

I won't be there until Saturday morning unfortunately. If I get there early I'll probably be able to meet up with people. I may be with my friends for the rest of the trip since I'm there for their wedding weekend. Maybe we can get breakfast Sunday. I'll more than likely be up really early so I'll have nothing to do while everyone else is sleeping.

@Calidrifter - I haven't seen a paintball tournament in a long time. I remember going to watch a tournament once a while ago. Can't remember if it was NPPL or something else though. It was in Huntington beach though.

@ragingSPAM - I want to go watch that sooooo bad. Let me know how it goes. Hopefully next time I can make there.

Sunday morning would be fine with me. Going to Vegas for a bachelor party. Was thinking about getting a rental car but my as of right now who knows. I'm staying at the Silverton by the way

We will be in vegas on Saturday. We will be running the Targa Trophy Rally from LA to LV and dropping the car off at the Falken booth at formula d. Hopefully we get to meet everyone out there. We staying till Monday.

@Fish yeah they still have them at HB. I played in that tournament earlier this year.

I believe I met some of you at AutoCon couple weeks back; @Fish . I will be heading to Vegas for FD and for First Drive on friday. I'll be taking my FRS no doubt. Anyone else down to roll out together??

I'll definitely be there from the 23rd to the 27th for Formula Drift. I'm not sure what car I'm going to bring, though. 2013 FR-S, 2005 GTO, or 1993 RX-7... decisions, decisions... lol

There will be quite a few of us LV86 Club members there with our FR-S's so bring the FR-S! haha

You have any work done to it? Ice cold AC is always a plus for long distance summer trips

I haven't done any work yet; I just got her on Saturday. I was so excited! I took her to autocross the next day, and she was a lot of fun! On my to-do list are exhaust (I'm hoping I can grab the ISIS), an alternate set of tires, and window tinting. Hopefully I can get some of that done before Formula Drift, but most likely not since I'm prepping the RX-7 for SevenStock 15 at the end of September.

She felt great! Nice, tight handling; I don't think there's any need to tweak suspension, at least not yet. I want to keep all mods nice and clean looking; the FR-S is a lovely car already. If something I really think looks great and is high quality comes out in the future I will consider it, but for now I will leave her as she is :)

I just got back from a week in Vegas, and I don't know if the girlfriend will let me jet off again so quickly, but I'm still seriously considering it! The 21st is my birthday, so a weekend in Vegas sounds like a good way to celebrate!

I'm thinking about taking off to vegas when I get mine... but I'm so sketchy about leaving it in the hotel parking garage. So then I thought, "well I'll valet!" -- then I realized that was an even worse idea.

I know for a fact I am not going to bring my Frs we got a rental car for the three of us that are going to Vegas. I can wait to see u guys on the road and I will be leaving OC at 11:30 or so.

I won't be leaving until the evening. My buddy is getting married in the morning and we have some lunch thing around 12:30 or so. I also probably won't be taking my car since theres like 4 of us going. Won't know till the day of.

Any word on group parking at Formula Drift yet? I'm really looking forward to this weekend and seeing what everyone's done with their FR-S/BRZ's.

Before I forget just wanted to say good luck to everyone that's going to Vegas may we win big so we can add some nice gear to our cars or help pay some bills :)
