2867r power expectations on e85
Hey guys, I tried searching this over the forums and dont really see how much power this kit makes at 7psi and 10psi. I have a jdl kit with an upgraded intercooler and 3 inch piping with a stock catback. I know it's all all about numbers but I just want some kind of reference on what numbers to expect that 7 and 10 psi on e85.

Probably 300-350whp. The tune has a lot to do with it too. Assuming you have upgraded the fuel system to run e85. There is a huge JDL owner's thread that has quite a bit of 2867r content if I recall.

I’m running a 2867r Gen 2 with full 3 inch piping on e85. At 10psi I make around 330 whp. According to my tuner on my 12 psi map I’m over 400 wheel but who knows lol

@RedPandas http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90149 read every page :)
The on-site search isn't great. Use Google and look for results from ft86club |

We just dyno tuned a customers car with our PTUNING turbo kit with a 2867R. Using a stock header and 2.5" exhaust on 93 octane it made 300WHP on our Dyno Dynamics dyno (AKA the hearbreak dyno). On E85 it would be in the neighborhood of 330-340WHP.

Generally, with either of those, can full spool be expected before 3K rpm or higher? Also, how much more would it cost if someone doesn't want any of the available options listed on your site, but want to go with a G25 instead? Thank you :thumbup: |
