Not available on the 86, designed for use in TNGA F/F cars, only Corolla for now.

NARFALICIOUS 03-29-2019 02:43 PM

It's only on the 19 Corolla Hatch and 20 Corolla, not the 86.

I tried it on the hatch 6mt once. It was a short drive. I wasn't really paying attention to the rev matching features.

soundman98 03-29-2019 08:38 PM

my brz predicatively rev-matches.

FR-Sky 03-29-2019 08:40 PM

Mine is a human active rev match.

PetrolioBenzina 03-29-2019 09:20 PM

LOL, won't this piss the purists off if it comes to the manual 86.

Tcoat 03-29-2019 09:32 PM

I don't care how anybody identifies and no reason to be surprised they are intelligent.

Impureclient 03-29-2019 09:35 PM

I concur with Tcoat. What a weird topic in here though, intelligence of transgenders.
Should have put this in off-topic.

You can flash a tune that includes active rev matching with the BRZ's transmission.

bcj 03-30-2019 11:30 AM

There's the neo MR2 sorted then.

I'm more surprised when people are intelligent than otherwise :iono:

Same here, regardless of what letter of the alphabet they identify with.

I don't know. I only know that it's been discussed here in the past that people have it in their tunes. One guy bought a used one that he didn't realize had a tune on it until he went to rev match on a downshift and the car did it for him instead.

SpacePartyAnthem 03-30-2019 07:07 PM

Deep down I feel like a CVT but I'm still a 6MT.

Flat foot shift and launch control are on the OFT. Sadly I don't think they ever offered or shiv even wanted to do auto blip.

Ecutek race-rom however has those feature, although I don't know how well it works. Honestly aftermarket versions are not worth it, launch control and ffs are cool and work, however auto blip requires the tuner to implement it properly.

PetrolioBenzina 03-31-2019 12:20 AM

I want to shift you like an animal, I want to feel you from the inside.

I have the race-rom features with my Ecutek tune. auto blip works quite well. It is the only one I have ever used. Never tried the flat foot shifting or launch control. I'm usually not one for excessive drivetrain abuse. I can scroll thru 3 different tunes with the different features, and a 4th tune which is valet mode, which is very cool.

Unless you've got super sticky tires launch control isn't that brutal on this car. With how little weight we have over the drive wheels even max performance summers break loose easily from a dig. I lowered my LC RPM to 4000 from the default 5500 because all it would do at 5500 is cause a ridiculous burnout.

TNGA transmission =/= Twins transmission
