There was a post in off-topic about the looming stock market crash. It's gone and erased from the history. No politics,religion or gun discussion so what gives?

And it was the first thread I've ever subbed to (really). Reminds me of my record of stock picks, actually.

A bunch of my mutuals paid some excellent year-end dividends, which I have automatically re-invested, just as things were at their very lowest recently. YAY!!!!! Couldn't have worked out better.. things rebounded shortly afterwards, and those dividends ended up being worth far more than they would have without the "correction."



As long as you don't put money you NEED in the market, and stay in it for the long haul, it's not a problem when it gets depressed for a while... it's a buying opportunity.
