Help With This Colour?
 

Hey everyone!

My boyfriend and I saw this BRZ in Atlanta, GA and when we talked to the owners they said it was a limited edition Periwinkle colour, that they only made 500 of. After doing further research, we cannot find the colour ANYWHERE. We have compared colours of Hyper Blue and other blue-ish colors but nothing is a match. It looks too clean to be a repaint or wrap...

Any help?

HMMMM Maybe my monitor is distorting the colour. Doesn't look like hyper blue to me.

Lol yep, but also 50th anniversary color is only offered on the 2018 models too i think

We saw this in May of 2017, so can't be the 50th Anniversary. It wasn't Hyper Blue either, the colour really stood out.

And tails and wheels. It is a hyper blue. My colour is just way off on my monitor. The lighting doesn't help either though.

Well if it isn't hyper blue it is not a production colour from anytime prior to 2017. Could be a wrap.

Looks very purplish on my monitor.

Has nice blue trim in the interior as well. Nicer than the standard interior.

Looks almost bang on the Heritage blue on mine. That was what fooled me. I didn't even look at the parts at first since the blue was so close.

Yeah, I see what you mean, but it didn't help for me to have bad lighting... and i was able to chat about it because they got booted for parking in a part of ATL 5 minutes after midnight haha

I say hyper blue because its a pre 2017 model. Also the hyper blues came with blacked out emblems and fender garnish.

Series blue had the skirts and spats. It was also WRB in colour which would be obvious in the pic.
That one has the blacked out BRZ on the back and the black garnish.

I think its hyper blue. It has full black pre-2017 oem wheels (not the STI ones) that the hyper blue came with and it appears to have black emblems.

That said, a bad picture with a night-time shot viewed on different monitors makes it very difficult to tell. The picture definitely makes it look more purple to me too.

Heritage blue is the closest this car has to an oem "purple" paint but this is not a 2017+ car.

I think OP is from UK. USA spelled color, UK colour.

OP shows as from Wyoming.
We spell everything with a U here as well and I take jabs for it all the time so that was the basis of the joke.

Sodium parking lot lights will be putting out a lot more orange spectrum at the point source.
Which camera and post processing happen can put the picture all over the map.

I'm still recovering from last time.
