Put UEL Catless in today the Rasp life.
Really im not about this Rasp Life this is with stock catback and front pipe sounds terrible, and cold start loud asf. Will drive around like this for a few weeks and if it does not grow on me im going back to Stock aka Torque dip life.

Lol. Your probably getting old. Just get a good catback to pair up with it.

You need the cold start delete for it to be managed. Get forced induction if you want to run stock exhaust with a bump in power :)

Get at least an OFT it will get rid of loud startup and sound much smoother |
Get a catted header.

You may have an exhaust leak. Notice any uncatalyzed exhaust smell? Especially when stopped and the HVAC set to outside air? I went through this.
Also - get a tune, OFT or other. You can eliminate the cold start racket. |

Get a full exhaust. Cat resonator and mufflers.
Mine is great! Sent from my HTC U11 life using Tapatalk |
The stock exhaust doesn't mate well with a UEL. Get something quality like Perrin or Miltek resonated systems. No rasp.
If it doesn't sound good with stock FP still you can try the JDL ultraquiet or HKS dual res |
My ofh paired with stock exhaust is very quiet. Check for leaks and tune it

The car shouldn't be raspy since you are still running one Cat and stock mufflers which do ALOT to quiet down the exhaust note. |
Same here. It was very quiet with just a catless header, so check for leaks.
It wasn't until I got a high flow cat frontpipe and overpipe that it turned a bit raspy. Is it raspier than this? https://youtu.be/uhqJbV_kg8U |

Somethings wrong, definitely wrong because I had 0 rasp or drone on the stock headerback, and with an axleback and catless header I still have non rasp or drone: 1) Make sure you have a tune OFT or the like, because otherwise you'll get a loud unnecessary cold start, also you're throwing away your money and not really killing the torque dip without it 2) You probably have an exhaust leak, double check your install, specifically the over-pipe to header connection. Using grimmspeed gaskets and high temp RTV got rid of any leaks for me. Also torque them down properly with a torque wrench afterwards, should be around 26-30 ftlbs |
