Help me find a good headunit with Google Play

Title says it all. I have been searching for a headunit with android and could download the youtube app but can't seem to find a good one. I drive long distances up and down California and would love to have the option of having a video to watch up just so I don't get bored. Please leave suggestions below

Thanks!

Don't watch videos while driving. :slap:

I bet someone has a good minifridge recommendation so you can bring along some cold brewskies

Spuds 08-28-2018 10:31 PM

You could also mount a little camping grill on the dash in case you get hungry.

This ^
Nobody wants to eat cold avocados.

There are reasons why head units lock out video play when moving.

Wasn't there some guy in a Tesla that proved this wasn't a good idea, even with a "self driving" car?

Tcoat 08-29-2018 01:32 PM

I will just leave this here

My buddy watches movies on his headunit when road tripping to tracks... I'm not a fan of his driving habits to say the least.

Watch the road, it's a better movie.

I'll take "2Fast2Furious" ricebois over "The Young and Restless" careless drivers any day.

Bonburner 08-29-2018 09:13 PM

real life has better resolution than any head unit you'll find

Mazikowski 08-30-2018 11:19 AM

NO.

Don't make me get the spray bottle...

But if you insist on driving distracted, go big or go home:

Not big enough, I want an ultrawide center screen with 2 side screens on the windshields.

Is no one else amazed that he's been on the forum since 2013 and this is his first post? Like it's super low quality too?

1. Price point?
2. You're driving this car and worried about getting bored driving, so you'd rather drive distracted?
3. Any android auto head unit can achieve this.....

You know back in the day..... in 2005 when the first LCD screens where in stereos, my "buddy" bought one and a bunch of porno dvds.

You can imagine what he did.

I asume this might be the case now. I mean there is a pornhub app right?

Well it fits is with the fact he posted at 7:30 logged out at 8:00 and never logged in since.
Maybe he is trapped in a really slow motion alternate universe.

He's been spending all that time learning how to masterfully troll us.

It appears to have worked.

chaoskaze 08-31-2018 01:18 PM

stop cracking me up guys

OP, you can find some android headunit on amazon that mirrors your cellphone screen or plays with app. Happy Pornhubing.

Googling his username led to me finding his actual info, I don't think he's too bright judging by his online presence :confused0068:

In my 15 minute drive to work this morning I saw 3 large vehicles swerving across traffic due to driver's paying more attention to their phones. Don't be a ****.

What you SHOULD be doing on long drives is blasting some T Swift and singing at the top of your lungs.

For the sake of the already shoddy reputation of FR-S/BRZ and California drivers, please don't watch videos while driving.

Just for that, I will only recommend a stereo out of a 90s Toyota.
