What are your favorite things about owning/driving an 86?

I love that the car is just so fun to drive daily (even stock), and it never fails to put a smile on my face. Plus, it looks good doing it!!

My favorite part of my FRS is the torque dip

Personally, I love all the mysterious rattles. The best part is finding and stopping rattle, to have another brand new rattle pop up! The fun starts all over again!

My favorite thing is that it's a fucking badass street legal race car, that feels incredible to drive - unlike any other car on the road.

I like that its light weight and I keep finding more things I can rip out to make lighter

I like the positive comments I get about my FR-S, especially from the younger folks.

Well, mine is still very new to me. New enough that this 8/6 day is my first monthly payment installment (a good day for the first payment, right?). So I don't have much as far as favorites yet.

I like that so far it has made me smile every time I have driven it.
I liked the "whoa, nice car!" I got from some random kid as I passed by one of the first days I owned it. (The twins are fairly uncommon in my neck of the woods.)

My favorite thing at the moment though is probably the feeling I get when I walk out and see it sitting in my garage after wanting to get one since first seeing the concept 9 years ago.

I just love the looks and the joy of driving the car

Now I insert sarcasm... Love the TOB and the steering column rattle 🤣

I love being practically invisible to every other vehicle on the road.

I've never had more fun with 193hp than in this car.

Wheelbase and turning radius

Just earlier today while I was at the gym, I noticed two guys walking back to their cars stop at my car; start pointing and looking the car over with smiles on their faces.

Love that people think it's fast.

Okay but fr, this car has been amazing. Im at about a year and three quarters of ownership. Learned to drive in this thing and so far its treated me well. Not many problems (knock on wood) so far.

That would go under my least favorite thing. Many times some dipshit in a lifted truck swerves over in my lane without seeing me. Gives me an opportunity to flick them off

Handles great, and for what I paid for a new car I think the seats are awesome.

Driving it in the winter on good snow tires (and not feeling at all like I'm going to die every 5 seconds) is a special kind of fun.

Unexpectedly getting 40mpg highway out of pricey high octane fuel is a pretty nice thing, too. At least now I know it can be done.

Love that it corners like it's on rails (that's with the prius tires).

Love the fast AT, floor it, 1 second later you're at 6500 rpm and the engine is howling like a banshee!

Love the factory seats that hold you like shrek gripping a turkey leg.

You beat me to it, the seats seem like they were made for me. And the sitting position it and the car provides is amazing.

I do love the AT on this car as well. The rev matching and that you can use the paddle/stick shifter without going into Manual mode. Downshifting on demand.

Definitely my favorite thing. After my last car I just cringed at all the turbo 4 owners being happy barely able to get 20 mpg, I just couldn't take that hit.

Oh and seemingly influencing several people where I live to buy one.

I love that we have our own day.

I know it receives a lot of criticism but I like the sound of the engine as it climbs through the rpms. I started driving with the rear seats folder down and it is like I bought a new exhaust.

This car made for me.

Definitely. I was cross-shopping with EVO 8/9; and even though an Evo would have been faster, it's always a big gamble on reliability on used Evos. Especially needing it for DD purposes.
