Just thought I'd make a thread for the lucky August BRZ recipients, with hopes that I don't jinx myself.

I just got the call from my dealer, Santa Monica Subaru, that my car is due to arrive on August 26, 2012. I was so happy at work, and my co-workers were all happy for me too as I have had a BRZ poster hanging in my cubicle since March. :happyanim:

Anybody else get ETAs for August yet?

I ordered on 3/27/12. 121 days and counting...

I just placed my order in at Santa Monica Subaru and received my VON for my WRB BRZ Limited. They said it could come in a month or even as late as November. I fear the worst and think it may come even later, but it would be sweet to get this car around Christmas time.

August 14 ETA! WRB, Limited, AT. Never asked for vin was to excited when I got the call from the sales rep and then a second call for another confirm by the manager :D

I got a call that mine is due sometime in August. When i pressed for a VIN i was told there was none.

I ordered DZA Black BRZ from San Bernadino Subaru and they gave me estimates of December,January,October, or sooner :eyebulge:

I didn't realize what Homelink was when I ordered the car in March. I'll probably purchase it and install it later though.

WRB 6MT Limited VIN 2183. Hoping 1st or 2nd week of August according to salesperson's estimate. This was a cancelled pre-order so when I went in last weekend it already had a VIN which means it was en route to the US from Japan. That's how they do things here in New England.

Hey Scott - I ordered mine through Subaru on Grand. I saw Evanston got a new shipment (3 may be 4 BRZs) in this past weekend and then they were gone like hotcakes (according to cars.com).

Since our VINS are pretty close to each other, I really hope mine would arrive early (i.e., the ETA 8/20 you have indicated on your post).

Just for reference - it appears that VIN number is not the primary driver for early deliver. It is a combination of color and VIN and in the case I have seen so far from this forum is that color trumps VIN. WRB > SWP in terms of delivery.

Just got word from my dealer. Ordered March 3rd. Scheduled to arrive August 6th

i took over a vacated spot from west houston subaru. it was their 5th spot and i think it was ordered the first week of march

Ordered in March and finally got word that is due in the 2nd week of August. Was originally told it would arrive in May so it has been a looong wait, but I'm happy its almost over.

Aug 5th as well here. My dealer just told me that it has arrived at chicago by rail. now needs to get on to the truck en route to my dealer.

I ordered 3/3 (same day and dealership as Zaggeron) and mine is confirmed for 8/27 delivery (according to call w/ SoA.. gave me VIN as wel). Would be nice to see it on the 6th though ;-)
