Rocket Bunny FRS

What’s up FT86 club,

Just wanted to post a YouTube video on a widebody frs I shot a couple days ago. Feel free to ask any questions on YouTube and subscribe!

PetrolioBenzina 06-23-2018 04:54 PM

Cool if you are an attention whore, I guess.

Tcoat 06-23-2018 05:09 PM

The next section down that says "Videos" was too confusing? Also felt the need to post it twice?

When is the last time you saw your mother naked and what is your favorite ice cream flavor?

extrashaky 06-23-2018 06:47 PM

What the hell was with that jittery video? Is there something wrong with your camera?

Maybe you should fix that.

humfrz 06-23-2018 07:07 PM

Shhhsh .. tough crowd ..;)

dr rogers, welcome to our forum …

Your into shows that you riveted a wide body kit onto your machine and that you can make it go around in circles and smoke the tires.

Actually, we are (generally) a pretty mature group, so don't expect too many oooos and ahhhhs.

Have a great weekend!

Really blew the doors off that Versa!!!

The Rocket Bunny is very flashy, but given the choice I'd take an (almost) stock BRZ tS.

At least a tS ispecifically engineered for best handling, no guesswork involved.

I'm over the cosmetics stuff and it's proven ridiculously wide rubber does not make the car faster on a time attack circuit.

On the other hand the Toyota Gazoo Racing Supra has some pretty massive width tires.

Clipdat 06-23-2018 08:18 PM

Wow, a rocket bunny. You don't see those too often.

Yep, about 5 years too late for insta-fame or anyone caring about youtube vids on it.

I don't think that's actually his car. He met a douche with an FRS. He used his fucked up broken camera to shoot video of the guy acting douchey in it. He posted it here assuming all 86 owners were as douchey as a summer's eve.

Impureclient 06-23-2018 10:12 PM

Well well well, I bet this didn't go as planned. Not at all.

Well he got some views so even if nobody subscribes part of his plan was successful.
Probably never return anyway.

He would get tons of mad subscriberz if he branched out to SoCal! Plenty of d-bags of all makes and models doing donuts on public intersections now.

Off-topic, I actually like the Camaro SS he filmed.

PetrolioBenzina 06-24-2018 01:04 PM

Jeez, I expected to be the one to take heat for hating on the douche rocket. Times change.

Based upon all the doughnut marked pointed out to me in random spits in the middle of the NorCal highways this is not something restricted to SoCal. They are everywhere.

No doubt, but I can't go a day without seeing something on the news about "street takeovers." Not sure why something like this is popular.

I know why. The sad part is that these street take overs lead to jumping cars out of airplanes and racing nuclear subs across sheet ice.

Or torpedoes that work out of water.

Hey. If Civics can drive under transport trailers, Chargers cans do burn out and wheelies at the same time and NOS can blow the welds on your manifold then torpedos can work out of water. All depends on where you suspension of disbelief lies.

KR-S 06-24-2018 05:27 PM

Don't forget that every vehicle can be hacked, and heavy rain now consists of 1-2 ton pieces of metal.

I watched a very educational documentary about these things.

True, but then I know that a running OTTO II fueled torpedo engine "undergoes rapid disassembly of components" without sea water to cool it, and RTFN, too.

Also, blowing manifold welds leads to the floor falling off.

Is it not against the forum rules to blatantly double post in two parts just to try and get view counts up on his own youtube channel? No doubt he's spent the time to do it on other forums as well if someone dug deep enough

Also the shaky video might have something to do with his camera recording and transfer to youtube at 60 fps, definitely messed it up somewhere along the way

I do like his e36 m3 however....

Nah. Some of us here have hated it since the first one was extruded from the designer's anus.

wbradley 06-24-2018 08:32 PM

Who wants rusting screws in the fenders, 11" wide wheels are purely for show.

Regards to idiots in these cars, last year my wife saw a guy in a BRZ do a doughnut at a busy 4 way with cars waiting right at the corner where I live and directly opposite to the high school!!!

However I have done a few doughnuts in the school parking lot over the years just to use up the stock tires. lol

I'd just start driving through the intersection. Dbag can stop, or hit me. Their choice.

Vic4uf 06-24-2018 10:54 PM

Is Rogers really a Doctor or a Dr like Dr. Dre?

In their defense, the "rusting screws" are usually rivets and don't rust if they are properly installed.

Without doxxing him and being too creepy, his youtube name is his full name.

He's graduating from University of Texas in 2021 from the college of communications, so not a doctor.....

There are plenty of builds using rivet nuts, that don't rust as he said

I'm not defending this stupid rocket bunny fad, I'm just saying I've seen them installed in an alright way.

PetrolioBenzina 06-24-2018 11:34 PM

If you spent all that money, why would you not cover the fasteners? Why make it obvious you bolted ugly onto your car?

Has anybody done custom metal work to widen the fenders/quarter panels? I'd like to see a wide body which looks more OEM.
