It looks way better in whatever lighting you're using than what they were advertising it in.

I saw those unveiling pictures from the Chicago Auto Show and thought the color looked crappy, too, sort of a flat powder blue. In natural light the color is richer and more reflective with nice "flow" between deeper blue and silver blue highlights. This picture was just natural midwest sunlight about 6:30 in the morning. No tinting or editing other than resizing and cropping.

Great color. Do you have any pics of the interior?

The 50th Anniversary edition has a BRZ Limited interior with the following differences:
50th anniversary logo on seats and floormats
silver-gray upholstery stitching instead of red stitching
silver-gray seat belts

Very nice shots. I saw one of these on the highway the other day, looks great.

IT's the old Original Subaru blue according to my friend in japan. O.O

NARFALICIOUS 06-11-2018 01:49 AM

Looks like the old EF civic blue. But more dynamic.

And this is how you would rock it back 50 years ago.

And this is before vape and flat brim were invented.

What you pictured are 1978s so what you would rock 40 years ago.

Here's mine after a spirited drive up a local canyon road (which is why it's not spotless). The pearl really shines in full sunlight- these pictures don't do it justice. Meant to post pictures when I first got it a few months ago, but I've been too busy driving it!

Actually, I found a picture I took that does a better job showing how the color changes in full sun.

Haha, thanks- I hadn't washed it that week (my climate is very dusty), and there are some water spots on the hood from that morning as well, but I guess the image compression made it less obvious!

I keep forgetting to bring my SLR with me, but this thread needs more love. So here is my dusty car in hard light as captured by my smudged outdated iPhone lens :iono:

I'll try to give it a wash and get some better pics this weekend. Taking it for its first road trip next week, should be fun!

The SLR came along for the drive today. These show it in somewhat diffused lighting thanks to all the smoke in the air lol.

Great shots!

Too bad they didn't offer the brakes in a different color; I'd prefer that subdued look with black or silver calipers on this color at least.

CLEAN

Love the look and the color. Simple and sharp to the look.

Will BRZ 04-23-2019 01:39 AM

Man that’s a beautiful color I love it. Very different. Not in your face, but still stands out as very sharp and clean. Suits the car I think

I too, really blue it`s not a good color for car

Lantanafrs2 06-08-2019 05:08 PM

I think that color enhances the wheels somehow.
