Ironically the best racing supras run 3sgte's (not talking drag racing clearly)... So why not a 3s swap for weight benefit, chassis balance etc?

Neekowahhhh 07-27-2012 02:41 PM

wow, that is how you do widebody!

goincarcrazy 07-27-2012 03:16 PM

Now THAT is a wide body! None of that "let's add Baha Rally style fender flares and call it wide body" stuff. Great looking car!

SnapOv3st3r 07-27-2012 04:07 PM

Aasbo's 2jz GT86 still best looking of the 2jz swapped ones thus far. Seems like the 2jz has become the most popular thus far, but wonder how much work goes into that vs an EJ25 Cosworth setup.

jimmillion 07-27-2012 04:26 PM

Thailand knows how to stuff it.

kyolml 07-27-2012 04:56 PM

This 2JZ swap put it back over the fire wall.

always curious why start it as brand new road car instead of body in white chassis unless somehow the car was donated by dealer/toyota sales.

Toyota should start their racing program to sell chassis only just like what honda do to their civic (around $4000 just for the Chassis if correct).

Neurytic 07-27-2012 04:59 PM

That is some amazing work and a beautiful widebody.

Jordo! 07-27-2012 05:48 PM

Oh no -- they ruined its natural "balance"! :bellyroll:

Jlturner 07-27-2012 06:43 PM

That car is sick, although I wouldn't be drifting in it like that without a helmet on! :eyebulge:

Mr. Mcoupe 07-27-2012 06:54 PM

azian_advanced 07-27-2012 07:43 PM

i hope they replicate that widebody. i know i would. cha-ching!

Coheed 07-27-2012 07:53 PM

This looks good, but it seems a LSx swap would be cheaper, easier, and lighter.

The 2jz is good, but it is old technology. I guess it works, but it's not my cup of tea. It's a sweet drift car though.

ft86-UAE 07-27-2012 08:02 PM

i want one :)

c0rbin 07-27-2012 09:40 PM

The widebody looks nice...

What would have been sick is an all-motor 2JZ-GE.

zAnSh1n 07-27-2012 09:53 PM

hot damn, nice !!

Pdub86 07-27-2012 10:37 PM

Holy shit that car is sick. I wonder how many horses that is running.
