Covering widebody holes?
Hey guys, I have rocketbunny v1 fenders, Wanting to switch up to a new widebody. And I want to weld and paint match the existing holes. Wondering how much that would cost? Would it be an arm and a leg? if you have any experiences on this or been through it! please let me know! Thank you

I suggest you stop by a couple body shops and get some estimates. (it will be about twice as much as you think it should be) OR, just stuff plugs in the holes and call it a "new look" ..... :w00t: humfrz |

Why do you have a Miata AND a FR-S, if you live on a tropical island ......:confused0068: Just curious .......;) humfrz |

Need miata for typical guys. FR-S for those tight pants wearing f-bois that vape. |
I doubt you'll even find a shop that wants to take on the task, welding all those holes.. your going to be creating a lot of heat/ warping on your panels
"Wanting to switch up to a new widebody" Get a new kit that covers the existing holes |

There is an answer though. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....CNBC.01.lg.jpg |
I hear playdough works well.

Wouldn't it be easier (and probably less costly) to just replace the fenders?

I guess u woke up one day and realized what a mistake rocket bunny was huh

I love my rocket bunny, just going to V2, but if covering the holes would be way too much of an inconvenience, i guess i would have to save up for v3 so it'll cover the previous holes
Thanks for the input everyone |

On the real tho not a fan of the rocket bunny fad on the 86 or any car |
Replace the front fenders with used ones, and weld in the holes that need to be welded in the rear? I mean I welded up 8 holes in the trunk from the wing, wasnt very hard, and didn't take very long either.
But most importantly, what kit is on the car now and what kit do you want instead? Would the new kit not cover the old holes? If so, just seal and protect them from rust well, and you shouldn't have a problem. |
