Photoshop Request for a Camry

Can someone hook me up with a photoshop of some Hot pink rims?

About to go trade in my FX35 for a 2009-2010 Camry. Idea is for a set of Hot pink rims on it and perhaps some Cherry blossom graphics on it (wifes car).

I'm thinking mesh style wheels in hot pink. But only requirement is the color to be Hot pink.

Here is a side shot, thanks in advance.

Mine. :3 But I guess his wife also has good taste.

Because it is a fact that Pink rims give you +10 HP. And Cherry Blossoms give you Another +10 HP per side its on. :E

Also.. maybe because I kept saying Pink rims and Cherry Blossom design on a couple of threads. I mentioned it a good... 3-4 times per thread. LOL

Very nice.

You think you can swap these over or something similar so I can get another idea of how a spoke rim would look?

I've always wanted that design. What are you implying Allch?!!!

Edit: And the cherry blossom was because.. They're my favorite flowers and I visit JP during cherry blossom season during the fall every year. :>

Not feeling those. Good find on the Camry with the lip though, as we are planning on adding a lip in the future and a deck lid spoiler.

From me. But I wasn't thinking of the forums when I said it. As we were driving back from Formula D, I was brainstorming cause she likes the blue 2009 Camry we are going to look at on Wed. It popped in my head that hot pink wheels might look good on that blue. And she has a Coi fish tattoo with cherry blossoms going up her rib cage, so I thought cherry blossom graphics would be sweet too. She likes the idea and requested a photoshop, so here we are...:)

That's what I was asking for! Thank you!

Oh great, now I'm getting flashbacks of the Cherry tree tattoo :|...

LOL...no problem.

And I think the verdict is in. She is feeling the original mesh wheels chop. Thanks guys for all your help. We are moving up the date to tomorrow to go check out the car cause we don't know how long it last. It's at a very good price of $16,185.

Does your wife know yet that you're going to turbo the living shit out of her 2AZ Camry? ;)

Well, the 18mpg more luxurious and powerful Infiniti FX35 we had is now sitting on Toyota's lot. And what's sitting in my parking spot is a 31mpg, decent interior, 2009 Camry LE.

We are going to eventually add:

-Sunroof
-Mesh wheels (hot pink)
-Lip kit
-Tint
-Springs
and -Stereo system

tranzformer 05-10-2011 11:14 PM

Sweet nice job.

n2oinferno 05-10-2011 11:29 PM

I originally had plans to mod my wife's Camry a bit. SE Grille, SE lower valences/skirts, wheels, and a small drop. But then I realized it's pretty much a waste since she doesn't care, and I can just save that money to dump into my own vehicle. I dunno, we'll see. It rides well as a baby hauler so I'm probably just going to leave it alone.

Congrats on the new car. :)

- Turbo kit from the tC once you find out how much more awesome the FR-S is on the track and but the tC back to stock to sell so you can mod the FR-S to 600 whp in the first month you get it.

Just throw a 2JZ swap into it instead (if it can fit).

Congrats on the new car. :)

She use to drag race with me before we had two boys and car seats. So, she's into cars and putting a little "flavor" in it is pretty much inevitable. The sunroof is a must have, pretty sure she won't let that one fall thru the cracks.

tC back to stock! Blasphamey! Way to much work involved to turn it back to stock. Rather have both. tC will never be sold. To much sentimental value in it. It will be passed down probably pushing around 500whp and full track setup. I'll be able to mod the FR-S at the same time, cause by the time I get it, the tC will be fully prepped and won't need anything esle. I just saved a TON of money when I traded in my FX35 so the wallet just got heavier.

This is going to be our setup in terms of wheels.

Ok, guys. Here is what I'm thinking the end will be. It's the same Camry after the guy put the Rksport lip kit on it. Can someone hook me up with a color change, and then Hot pink the center of the rims for me? I will be very greatful. I'm not getting the stretched tire look like he has, just going to have the same rims and lip possibly.

ninja edit: WoW is exactly who I was talking about lol

Dragonitti 05-11-2011 03:06 PM

Oh man, thanks WingsofWar and Blur . I'm digging the full wheel in Hot Pink vs. just the center mesh. I'm liking that.

Matador 05-11-2011 05:27 PM

Not the right look for the Camry imo, but your car I guess so....

NP, personally I dig my anodized pink full wheel look. But I guess it's down to what your wifey decides, lol.

WingsofWar 05-11-2011 05:48 PM

^ i agree, the full wheel in pink looks better than the center mesh painted

Dragonitti 05-11-2011 10:12 PM

I forgot about using anodization. Anodized would retain that shiny look right? If it's going to dull the look of the lip then I would think it's going to take away from the wheel. If it's going to kill the wheels shiny look on the lip then I think the mesh only will be the route we go. If not, then full pink gets the vote.

Did a quick search on anodized wheels and came up on a forum where a guy posted:

Quote:

First off, you cannot anodize steel, only aluminum. Anodizing is actually a form of corrosion that adds a hardness to the surface of most aluminum alloys, 6601 T6 being the alloy most familiar. A hard anodize finish is vastly superior to any powder coat (paint) for many reasons. It truly resists scratching, will never peel off, is color fast, and is very corrosion resistant. Note that there are soft anodize finishes (look kind of shiny, and shallow) that are crap, always ask for a hard anodized finish (duller and deeper color). Hard anodize is only available in deep silver and black or slightly bronze color. The dip in electrically charged sulfuric acid (must use titanum racks to caddy the aluminum in this acid) should be one hour long, and the finished product must be properly sealed afterwards by quenching (I'm not too sure about this process, but I do know that it is very important). In the marine industry, we swear by hard black anodize on all aluminum product. Powder coat is a distant second, or third behind LPU.

I just found some pics of anodized pink wheels and they are still shiny so this perhaps is going to be the route taken.
