tS parts orders?
 

Hey guys! Is there a way to order parts from the tS model? Such as the wing, red seatbelts, emblems...

Is it considered a tS if you add all the stuff a tS has onto a regular Limited? 😂

Technically yes because tS means Tuned by STI. If you get all of the parts then you technically have a BRZ tuned by STI.

If these parts aren't VIN-locked by the way, you can expect websites like ft86speedfactory to have them.

I'm (obviously) willing to bet they're coming. Parts may not be available immediately at your dealership however.

AFAIK, parts aren't VIN locked. The aforementioned warning on pricing is rather accurate though. Parts numbers are in the catalog, so your local retailer can give you a quote and even put in an order at this time, but it doesn't look like there's anything state-side yet. So, it'll be a while before you see it show up.

Just as a heads up, retail on the wing is over $3k, belts are over $300 per side.

The wheels are what I would be most interested in.

Part number is 28111CA130, retail is $1448 for a set of 4, not including TPMS or tires. Apparently in stock at our parts master warehouse, so could actually probably get a set in a few days if you really wanted them. Still gotta see if they're VIN locked.

AH! Insider - dope. Any chance the tS badges (specifically for the trunk) and the front bumper and rear bumper cherry red stripes will be available? That's what I'm most interested in.

All I can see right now is the tS badge for the rear trunk. Looks like the front badge and pin stripes might be included as part of the bumpers. Gonna have to look into that more.

Gimme till tomorrow to make sure I'm allowed to post these part numbers. I don't want to get fired for something silly like that haha. I think I'll be ok but I'm going to check first.

I can tell you now it's NOT the giant wing. hahaha! I really like the shift knob and seat belts though. Not sure if they would clash with the yellow interior...

There's no part number associated with that yet.

So right now it's looking like parts might be VIN-locked until production numbers come in. I'll let you know if anything changes that would allow me to pass out more info.

As of Saturday, even having a tS vin won't allow access to tS parts (I tried with the vin of my reserved tS), but that'll probably change in time I imagine.

would be nice to get some of the handling pieces. Even stealership prices are probably cheaper than import from japan only prices.
