RPF1, but specifically the Type II. Not a fan of the original.

Black or gunmetal.

schtebie 07-22-2012 09:55 AM

NT03+M

miodculae 07-22-2012 09:59 AM

I like the GTC-01RR. I think it'll look slick in gunmetal on the White finished car. This may be my direction IF I EVER GET MY ORDER DELIVERED DAMNIT!!! Regains composure, Yes, the GTC-01RR would be a great choice in an 18" diameter...

These are nice but 17x8 +48 only for our bolt pattern, somebody may like them. I'd like some PF01's wider than 7.5 and the Raijin is pretty nice too.

NickFRS 07-22-2012 07:37 PM

I love my PF01! They require a 15 spacer in the rear and a 5 spacer in the front to flush.

I'll get some better pictures later. This is w.o spacers. 215/45/17 stock tires. Going to be getting 225/50/17 tires when my coils and spacers arrive. Going to be dropped on BC BR coils.

I know my question isn't really following the flow of this thread, but I didn't want to start a new one :D what do you guys think between the enkei EV5 and RP03, which would you choose? i've narrowed it down to these two enkei's for the my 86. They'll both be in the 17" flavour for me.

I'd pick RP03 because weights aren't listed for the EV5 (and is prob a fair bit more).
RP03 = Lightweight Racing Series
EV5 = Performance Series

But, if you care about looks over function, pick whatever you think looks better. I do like the look of EV5 in Hyper Black.

Mitch 07-23-2012 10:12 PM

I went with RPF1s, only in gold. Still, if that isn't your flavor, the black look great too. Silver's not bad either, but that's the order of my preferences.

Midnight Run 07-24-2012 03:43 AM

I would like to run 18x9 front and 18x9.5 rear or possibly 18x10.. hope they will release more aggressive sizes in 5x100 soon.

With the RPF1 are ppl thinking 17 or 18 inch?

I'm thinking 17", since 18" will have to run a 35 profile tire to not have a larger circumference. 235/35R18 roughly = 215/40R18 = 215/45R17 circumference.
I'll probably choose 245/40R17 on 17x8 RPF1s.

I used http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp to do the calcs.

I did a little photoshop and put this on another thread.

In reality, they appear to have less concave with this fitment, which IMO doesn't look as good.

If I do go with the RPF1 Type IIs as planned (very very likely at this point) they will be 17x7 +48 (stock size). They're already available.

Tainen 07-25-2012 12:20 PM

NT03+M, as others have said. hyper silver or hyper black for me.

Wolfking 07-26-2012 12:50 PM

Enkei EKM3 in H-silver or perhaps GM-grey get my vote!

mickey177 07-26-2012 07:36 PM

I really like these. But they seem a little rare.Cant find the weight http://www.1010tires.com/images/whee...l_lg_super.jpg

mickey177 07-26-2012 07:40 PM

Never mind I found it 17x7 5x100 +48 perfect stock size. 16.2lbs

thatWESguy 08-23-2012 09:01 PM

to gain the concave for the NT03+M, you'll have to go with a wider wheel, looking at probably a 9.5 or so

SemperFi 08-24-2012 01:50 AM

I just mounted my NT-03's today. I must say it looks sexy. I will post pictures this weekend.

Akired86 08-24-2012 02:18 AM

All the Enkei rims that are in your survey are nice! But the cost kills you. I'm not going to put a $500 saddle on a $50 horse. I like the Enkei Fujin, for looks, performance, construction, weight, easy to clean and cost.
Do I go with the black or the silver on my Asphalt FRS?
I wish their was gun metal, hyper black or a machined lip version. At least to compare. There are so many choices in rims??? :iono:
