Hi guys,

Good turn out at the NorCal meet today, I enjoyed it a lot and hope to do it again soon. For those of you who liked my axel back exhaust from nameless exhaust and is interested in getting one for yourself, hold your horses. I've just sent an email to them about group buy and pricing. I hope they'll have one, that'll be great! I'll update you guys soon once I get a response. If there is group buy available, Socalers are welcome to join in too. Again, nice to meet you all and hope to see more of you out there in the next meet!

If you can get 10 or more people together for a group buy in the continental 48 states, we can do a group buy at $500 ($50 off retail pricing) plus shipping.

What forum are you guys based out of? If you want to start getting people on board, have them contact me with their information. Be prepared to put down a $50 deposit per slot on the group buy. production will start at 10 orders at which point all members of the group buy will be billed the $500 for the axleback and whatever shipping costs to each member.

Based on the way that email was written once they have an order of ten then they'll start making them for us.

I'll edit the first post with a list of group buys. I think he wants you guys to contact him directly to put down a deposit of $50. Once there's an order for ten he'll start making them. Make sure to tell him that you're from this forum too. I'll also send out another email to him with your names to confirm.

So for the list, post your account name, real name, and PM me your email.

So far I have Khalis, Semperfi, and Phanguy who are for sure right? Who else? I'm thinking of getting the downpipe so I'm asking if I can be counted as part of the group buy.

They start making them when you place the order. From my experience, from the day I paid and placed the order, I received the exhaust in ten days. Here is a disclaimer I got with my order confirmation.

"We build everything to order here so our standard lead time is 10 business days from order placement to shipping. Since we are a small company our lead times are heavily influenced by our workload so this may be longer if we have a heavy week. Some parts take more than 10 days to complete, this is a fact that we are working on minimizing. Any order that includes powdercoat will take an additional 4 days to complete due to the turn-around time at the powdercoating company we use. Please keep these lead times in mind when contacting us about your order. If there is an issue with your order we will contact you directly and notify you of the problem"

I could have sworn reading somewhere that spam bots scan forums for email address and phone numbers so it's probably best not to post any real #'s and emails here. Just collect a list and send it over to John@Nameless when we reach 10. I'll pm you my info

Just to be clear, these are 100% legal in CA?

Probably not - it would need C.A.R.B. approval. I think technically anything we do to modify the car wouldn't be street legal here in CA.

I would think so since your not really radically changing anything. Unless you remove the cat. It would probably fail visual though. My Evo would pass emissions without a problem so I don't think you'd need to worry about that. Guy that did my smog didn't really care so long as the numbers passed.

as long as the factory catalytic converter is not removed, and the aftermarket exhaust system is below 95dB, it is legal.

This. You can replace the muffler all you want. Sometimes exhausts will come with a certificate that says the stats. You know in case you get pulled over for being a noisy neusance.

You guys should have this thread moved to one of the national classified forums so everyone sees it and has an opportunity at this deal. :) mods can probably help do that.

FYI I think we've talked Jason into a group buy for the whole forum. They've got a few additional exhaust designs they want to build first, but it sounds like it's a go.

I'm ready to buy as soon as the quieter design is available. I wonder if the group buy discount would apply if I want to buy the axleback together with the overpipe/downpipe combo....

Does this mean that I don't have to wait for this group buy to fill up...? $500 for the axel back just by mentioning I'm from this forum? What if I wanted to buy the headers/downpipe, any discount on those as well?
