BRZ Delivery dates
 

Just curious to know who has found out the delivery date of their BRZ, and what date?
Also, did you order in the pre-purchase or after it went on sale?

I went in on the pre-sale, still saying "pending"

Ordered mine on Thursday (19/07). Unsurprisingly my status is still pending.

Will they release cars to the dealers in the order from 1 to 201 so first orders filled first
How many cars are already in the country ready for delivery
How many are WRB and how many are the same as Toyota colors?
Does anyone have access to Subaru information?
If I order one now will I get one within 12 months?

Ordered mine on Monday the 16th. Contract accepted late on Friday 20th. Hope we will find out more details soon. Like next week. And that dates they give are accurate.

Ordered mine around 6pm WST on Monday 16th (Order number 2012). Still yet to hear from Subaru.

Got an e-mail from Subaru today (yes, Sunday):

We have taken the liberty of letting your nominated retailer know that you’ve chosen them as the pick-up point for your new Subaru BRZ.

I emailed the co-ordinator at 10.08pm on Saturday night, and got a response at 10.38pm, on Saturday night. Saying that they should know more about my order on Monday.

What online order number were you? Do you know approx what time you managed to get online on Monday and complete the order?

Sorry, just very keen to know when i might expect by BRZ.

Thats weird my 86 is due 9/9/2012 but my Toyota tracking tool says that it is still scheduled for production. How can they make your BRZ available 6 days before my 86 when one is on the water and the other is yet to be started on? Who wants to bet that my production date is going to be pushed back :mad0259:

Damn, I go my first email at 3.05 and my order is 586. Would love it if mine was "on the water". But fear not. Suspect it may depend on colour and trim ordered. I think i am one of the few that stuck with the standard seats and no sat nav, in Galaxy Blue Silica. Anyway, if i have to wait a bit longer, the bank balance grows. Trying to be positive here. :sigh:

The satnav is fitted when it arrives, so that wouldn't be an issue.
the trim may be, but you would think they would have plenty of stock trim, seems like a lot of people went the leather.

Totally. I had a dealer call me around 3 on Monday to say if I wanted white they could get me a car.

I was thinking I should have ordered a gray or a white one, would have got it quickly. But hey, at least WR Blue is Subaru unique, nobody will think I've got a Toyota!

Now I hope the delivery is relatively quick - c'mon BRZ coordinator!

Hey Gums we have the same estimated delivery date, although my order number is 1688.

I preordered my BRZ 4 days before the online release.

Day after my b'day... could turn out to be a nice present if i get the same delivery date.. haha

Seems the pre-order didn't give too much of an advantage.

Maybe Paros28 was just lucky to snare one 6 weeks earlier.

I guess i am pretty happy with Oct.

2-3 months is much better than toyota's waiting list.

Ordered a SWP (white) Manual, just the base no leather.

If memory serves, I think you ordered on Monday 16th, you may have yours 6 weeks earlier like Paros 28.

Mine is a base WR Blue, so it depends on demand. Apparently dark grays and whites had shorter waiting times.

Its almost just curiosity now, I will be waiting in any case. The day I get to pick up the car I am taking a day off work and going for a long drive!

My dealer thought that everyone with an order should know today.

I wanted the WRB and changed at the last minute.

Read on the 86 waiting time post that they are making the orders approx 5 weeks prior to delivery so colour should only effect the cars already made?

Still waiting for news. Might have to give the BRZ Co a call :D

After going to the trouble of putting down a deposit over a month prior to the online sale(and getting in early on that as well), I've been told today to not expect delivery of my car until december at the earliest.
The whole online sale BS has been a media stunt at the expense of customers, just so they could advertise how overwhelmed they were with the response.

I get the feeling all dealers did was collect the $3k deposits, then lodged orders and transfered the deposit on the website Monday... Perhaps, if anything, they got the morning to do it (hence it opening to the public at 12 instead of first thing). So all the pre-order really got you was a slot in the first 200 somewhere, but no better than anyone who managed to get on their shitty website without it crashing...

If that's the case I agree it's disappointing. Given all the f@#$%&* around and waiting they did, I would have thought people with early pre orders like that in should have got a car at launch, or very soon after, which is what Toyota seemed to have manage to do.

Website now shows 9+ months instead of 6+, guess orders are still churning through.

Haha, maybe thats why I resisted the urge to call this week. But getting very impatient and the toyota dealer is also asking me to verify that I still want my GT order - need to know the BRZ dates so I can make a decision which car I want!

GaH! C'mon, Subaru, don't let me down after the great start!
