I think its a cop out from actually responding to a thread and thanking the person or commenting and keeping a thread going. I say ban it!

It's better if it's a, "Groan" button, rather than, "No Thanks".

There should be a reputation system. Then you can just neg someone for their post and get the added entertainment of watching them throw a fit.

Oops I misread the title as No More Thanks button. This is for a "No Thanks" button like a thumbs down. Anyway I still vote to ban the "Thanks" button making people lazy and allowing threads to disappear quickly.

I really like the system that certain forums use (facepunch studios comes to mind) that allow you to rate posts as useful, funny, bad, zingers, etc.

What we need is a "Oh Wow", "Man, That Sucks" or "My condolences" button for when people post things like "crashed me car" or "my dog swallowed my keys".

I always feel funny pressing Thanks on those but don't really have anything to add that justifies a post, just my thoughts as mentioned above.

Getting dangerously close to Rocket League "Nice Shot!", "Wow!", "Holy cow!", "What a save!", "Sorry!"'s.

Truly coincidence, never played it.

What about a "thanks but no thanks" button for when people cross post pictures of their new car mod in different subforums
to make sure every last person sees it or a "thanks for digging up a dead thread" button?

How about a "Sorry" button with a little red maple leaf icon. :D

Or "Thanks for being a D*ck" to someone trolling a thread
