Hello fellow FRS/BRZ/86 owners! I recently just acquired my new vehicle, a 2017 Toyota 860 Special Edition in Solar Orange, and I have never been so excited about owning a car before! I have been a fellow car enthusiast ever since I was young and have always been fascinated by all cars! As a result, I am an automotive photographer (to an extent) on Instagram @CARSofplano and I would be happy to provide any 86 owner with a photoshoot in the DFW area.

So this is my new car. I have felt so welcome to the 86 community after joining the DFW86Club and by going to our local ‘Renegade’ Car Meets in Plano, TX. This car attracts endless on the road, which I find a little scary lol. All other 86 owners immediately run up to my car as I roll up to meets which I find absolutly warm and fascinating!

Toyota of Plano has been my dealership I chose to business with after a absolutely terrible experience with Richardson. Please go give them your business if you’re in the market!

I recently also picked up a '17 - there was one of these orange 860s on lot as well; in the end I couldn't get away from the red color LOL

Looks like it's time to update this thread a little. Car is sitting on some 18x8.75 et30 XXR 527 wheels. Not the best choice of wheels, but it serves my purpose.

Is your engine bay white? Here is Australia they brought out the Toyota 86 in a limited edition (with the brembos etc) in the same orange, but they were lazy as hell as the engine bay is white with bloody orange overspray

That is the case for all solar orange 860s as far as i know.

Yeah they all are like that, seems so half-assed to me lol.

Unfortunately, my engine bay, like all other Supernova/Solar Oranges, is indeed white and full of orange overspray. It's definitely half-assed and an eye-sore to look at

It sucks because in person it is such a nice colour. Toyota said that orange isn't a good colour for primer. Ok then at least not have any overspray. If it was just white then it could be somewhat dealable.

Just bought mine Saturday and it’s exactly the same unfortunately 🙄. But outside of that, the car is dope 🤘🏻

Finally dropped the car with Tein Street Basis Z coilovers. Although they lack any camber adjustments, they serve well for daily use. I am running SPC camber bolts to help out in the front and am awaiting adjustable RCAs to dial in the rear.

Additionally, I also installed a Invidia Catless Front Pipe at the same time!
