Rocket Bunny

I'm buying the rocket bunny. As much as it's "overplayed" where I'm from you'll never see them. Omg ever seen one. Preferably the v1. If you're selling let me know. If you got the v2 I'll still play game. If you don't have it, please help me find the best price. I don't want any look alike. I could use yalls help

Yeah, and my reaction was similar. "OMG, that looks like shit." Good luck with your search.

Check the FR-S/BRZ for sale thread/section.

You usually can find an "Ex Show-Car" in there for about the price of a new non-molested Twin ($26k-$30k)

Just understand, that getting financing for these is a royal PITA.

The lender will go by Blue Book, so say a 2013 Rocket Bunny with Super Charger for $25k.

The Blue Book on that car will probably be like $15k or so.

That means you will need about a $10k down payment more than likely.

If you already have the car...it may be worth selling the current car and buying a Rocket Bunny that is already made (they are seriously devalued once that kit is applied)

Or you can just hack up your current car and "make it yours". Just know going into it...that you will never get your money back out of it.

Buying a used Rocket Bunny is like marrying the high class hooker when she retires.

More like marrying the flashy transvestite prostitute while she's still working.

I'm just sad that these cars will end up in the crusher when the owners crash them or blow up the engines. They might have been good for parts if the body wasn't trashed, the engine wasn't thrashed and the interior parts didn't have douche all over them. As it is they'll just be turned into paint cans.

But think of all the fame you would have on social media. Well before you try to drift and realize you have 1" of rear tire on the road.

I love the RB kit, especially V2. Call it a guilty pleasure. Wish I could afford it, and - most importantly - justify it.

D_Thissen 05-17-2017 01:09 PM

Never said it couldn't be done properly. A lot of the ones on social media have hacked up fenders that will probably rust out, running 2" spacers, stretched ebay tires with -15* camber.

Yep!
There are those that need to RB to get the space required to do the performance changes they want to make.
Then there are those that RB for the sake of RB and then have to fill the space they created so it looks like they have changed to performance parts.
I highly doubt the two groups are ever in the same place at the same time.

Its funny, the ones who have a RB kit and performance mods to back it up are usually very helpful at meets (answer questions etc). They ones who don't, park across 4 spots and things are kept secret (I have big plans etc).

I have yet to see either type in real life. I guess I don't get out enough.

I'm not sure if you're on FB or not, but there is a group of people in your area. I think its called SWO owners or something like that.

OP sorry about the derailment.

I am a charter member and was one of the very small group at the first meet. The first bunch were great guys but reading the FB stuff now I doubt I will attend many more.
