Got plans for it but little money so it'll be slow, but tint and fogs are a must before too long.

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 04:42 PM

looks good what r some of the plans u have

b_massey02 07-15-2012 04:51 PM

Fog Lamps, Rims (prolly 18's), a few suspension tweaks, couple of the jdm options (maybe), the lip spoiler from trd or 5 axis, and get some more power out of it when the aftermarket figures out the in's and outs of this engine. Gonna stay naturally aspirated and keep it fairly simple. Its my daily, so I can't break it. :-P

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 04:56 PM

ya i cant wait for a turbo to come out, u going with any strut bars or anything like that? and i think im sticking with 17, just because i dont want to buy more expensive tires. I plan on lowing it just with springs im not going with changing out the coil overs or anything. what exhaust u planning on going with?

Exhaust is a big question, Perrin's stuff sounds nice as does Borlas, but I really don't know. My plan for suspension are springs/struts or coils (undecided at present), probably trd sway bars and strut bars and thats prolly it.

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 05:12 PM

Ya i like the perrins stuff- but im planning on preordering evo 3 from greddy next week, i ordered struts front and rear already. You planning anything in the interior?:burnrubber:

b_massey02 07-15-2012 05:22 PM

Might wrap that flat panel in some real carbon fiber, new shift knob and e-brake handle maybe some stereo stuff, and possible some different material shift and e-brake boot but overall I really like the interior as is. Overall my plans for the whole car are to personalize it a little and massage it some but overall Toyota/Subaru did a great job IMO. Could be a little biased tho my last car was a pontiac grand am that was in need of some serious help. :-P

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 05:34 PM

i was planing on wrap interior as well. what color u going with, blue carbon or black?

b_massey02 07-15-2012 05:39 PM

Black, I think it would go with interior better. :-P Oh and I'll prolly get some led bulbs for the interior too. And maybe do something with the headlamps and tails, but that is really low on my list. Tho it would be nice to have black housings instead of chrome especially with the darker color.

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 05:48 PM

my firestorm fr-s comes in in about 2.5 weeks im pretty excited i ordered red carbon fiber hoping it would match just right if not im sending it back. i found an interior dome light for like 12 bucks it was blue led i sure u can find one u would like. my mustang now has black out heads and brake lihts i dont like them, because my head lights arnt bright enough. so... im prolly now going to do anything with the heads. Now my brake lights i plan on red them out, i dont really like the look of a black out head and brake lights. how u loooking on window tint u planning on doing something with that?

Ugh the waiting is the worst!!!! :-P Tinting is coming as soon as possible prolly in August it's hot here in Florida! I forgot what they ran on my wife's TC, but I'll prolly get the same. Its darker than Florida legal but not so dark as to attract attention.

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 05:59 PM

waiting does suck!! I'm here in Texas i plan on getting my tint done with that tint that doesn't let heat into the car, u know what i'm talking about? I called one of the tinting places here in town they said it would be around $200 i didn't think that was bad, how much was it going to cost you?

b_massey02 07-15-2012 06:49 PM

I thinkmy wife's was about 200 and i think it might have been Oakley or some such. Do they even make tint? :-P Anyway that price for good tint sounds about right.

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 06:59 PM

hows the mt shifting had any problems with it?> so far or all been good, also u getting a perrin crank pulley?

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 07:19 PM

Looks good :), tint is highly recommended for this 100 degree heat. Watch out for the condensation in the taillights with all these random bits of rain were getting, going to have to take mine in for a new taillight here soon.

kendalldwhite 07-15-2012 07:44 PM

bits of rain lol its rained really hard for the past 7 days here in texas

So far mine have been leak free!! I even washed it today and no troubles. :-) do hopefully all is well. I don't seem to have trunk gap either, maybe production line made adjustments. :-)

And yeah the heat is brutal!! Ugh. I'd do tint if i could but money's depleted for the month so next month it is . :-(

b_massey02 03-29-2015 03:37 PM

Well I kinda neglected this for a while......... soooo I reckeon I need an update.:bonk:

So here are all the things done since last time:

A few interior pieces from JPM, picture of the shift boot, also have the e-brake boot, door trim panels, knee pads, and cluster hood

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...assey02/10.jpg

Also designed a plaque through Yospeed:

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...2/IMG_2290.png

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...2/IMG_2294.jpg

And added an armrest:

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l272/b_massey02/3.jpg

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l272/b_massey02/4.jpg

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l272/b_massey02/5.jpg

and added the Perrin e-brake button.

That pretty much wraps up the interior stuff for now....

b_massey02 03-29-2015 03:49 PM

Moving outside, added the Rexspeed mirrors (not pictured)
And the rest was more performance oriented or in the engine bay.

OFT Tune,
Most everything GrimmSpeed makes

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...assey02/14.jpg

and of course....

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...2/IMG_0343.jpg

Which gave me this:

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...2/IMG_0344.jpg

Also not pictured are the Perrin Crank Pulley, Alternator Pulley and Water Pump pulley

And last but not least the most recent addition....Perrin 3" resonated SS exhaust

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...2/IMG_0590.jpg

Which finally filled out those sad stock tips and such :burnrubber:

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...2/IMG_0592.jpg

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...2/IMG_0593.jpg

And that's pretty much it at the moment, more to come for sure, but definitely enjoying the process and the results.:thumbup:

b_massey02 05-19-2015 10:02 PM
