Threw a brick through my window..

Anyone know a good place for window repair in the GTA and also is that small bump in the side of my door fixable?
If so, anyone know a good place for tht as well?

Thanks

IMC 07-13-2012 12:00 PM

That sucks dude :(

Did they take anything? Or was it just random violence? Where were you parked?

By bump in the door, do you mean that dent in the window molding? You can probably replace that entire plastic molding with a new part from dealership.

Good luck with your repairs

blu_ 07-13-2012 12:00 PM

dcfr 07-13-2012 12:01 PM

Sorry to hear that. But try with APPLE auto glass. Do a quick search online for the location. Hope it helps.

WS12888 07-13-2012 12:01 PM

Sorry this happened to you.

ppl these days...

Turbowned 07-13-2012 12:05 PM

Dude, what the fuck? I HATE PEOPLE!!! Piece of shit probably can't afford the valve stem caps on that car, nevermind understanding what it means to pay for a brand new car like that. I hope the responsible party dies in a fire.

Cudgel 07-13-2012 12:06 PM

MAN!!! Sorry to see this! You're in Richmond Hill too! Were you parked at home?

7thgear 07-13-2012 12:09 PM

This is why we can't have nice things. >:(

and a brick? for real? Man, thieves have no class nowdays.

sirus 07-13-2012 12:13 PM

Sorry to hear bud. I hope karma comes around and knocks them hard! I hate it when people can't appreciate other ppl's things or "don't realise" that their actions have to be paid for by other people. A-holes.

MannyO 07-13-2012 12:22 PM

:sigh: I hate seeing these kinds of things. Sorry this happened to you.

Hope the repair process is speedy and painless.

BLL 07-13-2012 12:23 PM

Thats brutal man.

7thgear 07-13-2012 12:24 PM

DarthNads 07-13-2012 12:44 PM

God that really sucks... It makes me paranoid enough to install some sort of security camera outside when I get mine. :S

Jehuty77 07-13-2012 12:48 PM

WTF!

V1B 07-13-2012 12:48 PM

mechaghost 07-13-2012 01:20 PM

I hope karma comes around and bites that dude in the balls

boredstudent3 07-13-2012 01:32 PM

Feel for your loss man

Looks like a random act

At least it looks like they didn't go for parts on the vehicle like rims, pioneer head unit, steering wheel (airbag), etc

It's fixable. Don't lose sleep over it. I share the pain, as my car got into an accident before (their fault as per insurance)

EsoBOFH 07-13-2012 01:42 PM

Damn.. that sucks, condolences... I know exactly how you feel. My '07 tundra was broken into 3 times in my own driveway. Everything inside was taken - even stupid crap that wasn't worth anything)! Feels like you've been violated.

Might have to make a sign for mine now...

"This car may look classy and expensive - but it's only worth $25k, the owner is broke paying for mods, has no money, or anything of value inside.. please move along"

M-17 07-13-2012 02:32 PM

Damn, that's too bad man.

I'd probably check a security camera to see if I can find the prick whom would do that to my car, so I can throw a brick at him and see how he likes it. :paddle:

RRnold 07-13-2012 02:44 PM

Damn, that sucks so bad!

ask the cops! file charges

theft under 5000, damage of private property, probably some other crap.

the rest will be in the court's hands, assuming the cops nab this guy.

and don't post video here until they do their thing.

AX_FRS 07-13-2012 03:13 PM

Who takes an airfreshener... did he think you would be getting enough fresh air with no passenger window or something?

This guy ripped everything he could get his hands in.. I have those sticky matts for the air freshner it was so hot it stuck on real tight and now all thats left is that matt with a hole in the middle .. Lol..

Just ordered the window from subaru almost $600 and trim piece for the window i think $70

Luckily my friend who works in a garage is super generous and installing it for me for free :)

Took my sunglasses, cardholder, airfreshner and itouch.. random violence i guess parked in Downtown adelaide and parliament outside my workplace

And theres an actual bump on the door its really minor but it really bothers me

DarthNads 07-13-2012 04:20 PM

Make sure you notify OHIP and the SIN office that your cards were taken, nothing's worse than identity theft. :S

pastuch 07-13-2012 04:24 PM

Sorry to see that man. Toronto sucks.

I feel your pain... Someone dinged my BRZ less than 48 hours after I got it but fortunately my dent repair guy made it perfect again. Only cost me $140.

yeah...

I'd ask around here some more, someone will know a PDR (Paintless dent repair) guy in your area. If they can't do the work themselves they will know someone that can. I actually found my guy on Kijiji.com. He liked my car a lot so he really worked to make it perfect again. Pretty amazing what can be done with a Nylon pen and a few long metal bars. The flared arches at the back of our cars can be repaired through the tail lights. Mine was on the passenger side so he had to work over the gas tank.

b_massey02 07-13-2012 04:42 PM

:mad0260: Grrrrrrrrr. People suck.

8987846 07-13-2012 04:55 PM
