Is that glowing literally or figuratively? Glowing with pride or shame?

Didn't we go over this already on how the dealer will refuse service work on the car if this is done?
Your best bet is to make it magnetic so you can swap the Toyota badge quickly back on when bringing the car in to the dealer just to be safe.

It depends. Usually it takes time for them to go again. Maybe you should try for long when it does likely a place at a total? Just my opinion.

My apologies. Silly questions sometimes make my brain regress and this is the result.

That just looks bizarre. The big rectangular opposed piston logo doesn't flow with the oval outline at all. At least the Scion and Toyota logos blend well with the overall shape.

Anybody that says they can't see the swastika in the 86 can sure as hell see it there!

Really?:iono: I never seen that on the forum before I must have missed that. I rebadged my car since the trunk Scion emblems had to be pulled off. My trunk lid had to be repainted. It was cheaper to get the Toyota badges. Servco Toyota here in Hawaii doesn't belong to Toyota USA so hopefully my car be ok to get serviced. I have 10 more months of new car warranty on my car. ;)

soulreapersteve 01-12-2017 09:14 AM

Selling my Scion badges for 75 dorras.

It was a joke! The dealers do not care what badges you have. They work by VIN.

But I guarantee that you will soon see on assorted auto forums..."I read that changing your car's badges will void the warranty":rolleyes:

Followed by a motoring.au article headlined "Toyota Has Found a New Way to Avoid Warranty Repairs". It will then spread to 1,000 other sites and get built on until it eventually becomes "Toyota Shooting On Sight 86 Owners That Place FRS Badges on Their Car"
These clickbaits will then get posted here where half the people will believe them causing the clickbaits to use the posts to support their stories.
