Age and Profession Survey

Just curious how old you are getting this car and if you work, what is your profession. The salesman I talked to was in his 50s and said that he was to old for the car.

Some people think I'm crazy for buying this car being married with two young kids.

BTW I'm 29 and work in the Software Development area.

BRZ Owners welcome as well :D

You are not crazy. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old... Both girls. I love them like crazy, and I'm also a sports car fanatic. My wife thinks I'm crazy, and so does the world... But I stopped caring about what others thought about me a long time ago.

I'm thankful the FR-S has two small back seats so I can squeeze in my kids anytime I want to drive THE sports car.

By the way, I'm only 26. I'm thankful and fortunate for the opportunity of taking over and operating my family businesses in the hospitality industry.

Thanks for creating this thread since I'm sure there are many folks like us in the sports car world.

Also, I feel like telling that salesman of yours that youth is all in the mind... But I'll find that truth out as my age progresses. :D

Thanks for that. My wife thinks I'm crazy as well. On the other hand she drives the Z71 Tahoe/Kid carrier. She doesn't understand my love of cars. She just gives me the "grow up" phrase LOL. I guess I will never grow out of loving cool cars. I do well for myself and provide well for my family and don't see anything wrong with enjoying some things I like.

I'm 41, my wife is 46 our son is 7 and doesn't mind getting in the backseat. I'm an R.N. and my wife watches our son. This car is 50 % for her since it's our only auto, she can't drive a manual. What I like about this car is that when I have to drive it I feel like I'm not missing out to much because the auto is that good.

I was very tempted to buy the auto. The shift response is great.
