black TSW interlagos

smiley424 07-12-2012 11:30 AM

ouch, I was thinking about putting them on my long list of wheels, until I saw the price!

ChristosG 07-13-2012 12:38 PM

How come there is still no weight information for these wheels? If they're going to cost so much I really want to know this info. I can't find it anywhere.

BioRage 07-13-2012 01:07 PM

Hmm as expected from factory,

$1198 EA.

OrbitalEllipses 07-13-2012 03:00 PM

Rofl $1200 per corner? They better be forged Mg, but I doubt that. They don't even look particularly unique either.

nosi9frs 11-27-2013 11:57 AM

Any news on these being available in the US for the FR-S so the price isn't $1198?

adprokid 11-27-2013 12:26 PM

I think they a rebranded T66-F, but i could be wrong

Those aren't the same as the TRD, similar, but those are the wheels on the Griffon

FunCon5 11-29-2013 02:02 PM

Custom HRE CCW & DPE wheels cost the same. I'd rather roll any of them over these...

Teclis 06-28-2014 09:06 AM

This is mine GBS Toyota GT86, with the TRD SF2 rims, with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 :)

20mm front and 25mm rear or 25mm all around if you don't mind a couple of mm poke on the front.

I have 25mm all around when running these wheels

nzer 03-11-2015 07:00 AM

Weight of TRD SF2 18x7.5" +46 wheel

Finally got a weight of these wheels from Toyota New Zealand.

7.5kg each

I'd love to know where! I think you must be looking at some other TRD wheels.

If you can find them for $250 @FNCrazy please post the link as I might grab a couple of sets to import and resell here.

They're still over US$3k a set here http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/toyota...es?keyword=Sf2

And, direct from Japanparts they are over US$700 each with freight on top

FNCrazy 07-22-2016 06:53 PM

I know nothing of the seller, but there are multiple places approx. Same price range. And these are just the fronts or backs, I can't remember. Don't take them all. I crashed my car and need a set next week!

I make up 112% of what I say.

FNCrazy 07-22-2016 06:54 PM

I don't know what sf2 is, these might not be those

I make up 112% of what I say.

azian_advanced 07-22-2016 07:18 PM

any one know whether these use the flat (stock) or v-type (chamfered) lug nuts?

Yep, those are USA "normal" alloy TRD wheels not the JDM TRD SF2 forged wheels. You'll see they look quite different and a lot lower spec (as in heavier).

My car came with these wheels so don't have a stock lug nut to compare but here's one of the lug nuts they came with so you can compare to a stock one @azian_advanced. I changed to the TRD lug nuts afterwards.

TRD ones here. Really expensive rebranded ones but if you're going to spend $3k on these wheels what's another $200!!!

These wheels as per the OP are "TRD SF2 Wheels 18x7.5 +46".

I think the SF2 means "special forged" version 2 but then that could just be part of the 112% I make up :)
