Heated seats and dual climate control

This might have been asked before but all I've found about dual climate control is a harness. Is that all that's needed? Or is there a device needed to be installed ? It has been done, there is a video on YouTube of someone doing it. If anyone can list what's needed for the swap, I'd greatly appreciate it!

For heated seats, is there a universal kit that's easy to install? What parts will I need for it?

Thanks for your input!

Also, what head unit are you guys using? / recommend ? I have the upgraded 2013 head unit. It's this..http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...f0afb8aa8b.jpg
While it works, it's pretty awful. It shuffles like 15 songs, no search feature. I want something preferably with a volume knob.

How much do you want for the head unit. I love that head unit! Much better than the 2016 BRZ head unit

If you're talking about over Bluetooth, that's the fault of the music player in your phone, not the head unit. Try a different phone.

Thanks for that post! However, it doesn't show how to install dual climate control module. It's just the knobs.

For head unit advice, I'd cruise around the electronics section, although tbh, I'd prob just recommend hitting up crutchfield and looking at dbl din units, the space will accomidate just about any regular dbl din nicely, and you'll get a lot more content there as far as reviews on this brand or that. I'm running a pioneer 4100NEX though for reference.

Or is there a headunit that can display google maps off my phone?

Prices vary with stereo equipment, espec with age.
You are using an iphone it appears look for head units with apple carplay. it'll do what your asking.. I have the 4100NEX which does carplay and android auto. I use google maps on my head unit virtually every day.

That's because swapping the dual climate control is lengthy and expensive.

You would need the WHOLE GT86/Limited BRZ wiring harness for the whole car and the GT86/Limited BRZ ECU to be fully plug and play.

At this point, it doesn't really seem worth it, unless you can find one at a junkyard for cheap. And you know what you're doing.

don't have any passengers then you won't need to worry about dual climate...you can have all the climate to yourself

My girlfriend is super annoying when it comes to the temperature in the car. I like it to be freezing cold because I enjoy the cold temperature and she likes it really warm. I think I'm not the normal one because every passenger that gets in complains about it being pretty cold lol.

Yea that's been the recent solution but I'm thinking if it's do-able to to install dual climate, I'll get bitched at less

Hence the question for them and how I can install them. I'm guessing I have to take the seat apart

Our cars are known to fit full set of track tires/wheel. I wonder, how many cold weather girlfriends may fit in with rear seat folded down? :)
