What are you lowered on?
|
I think they look good, this is one of the set's I'm considering for my Whiteout Fr-S but I want them in black. I'm glad to see the +35 offset leaves the wheels pretty flush.

Looks nice!!
|
they actually look REALLY nice - cheers!
know how much they weigh at all? edit: just found the weight 18.85lbs |
Do you have any rubbing issues? I'm looking at 17x8 wheels +35 offset maybe 225/45 tires and will eventually lower it 20-25mm. I used these sites to see the inner clearance will remain exactly the same as stock and outer clearance will extend 26mm (about 1") towards the fenders further from stock. Any idea if outer clearance will be good for this?

Similar setup with a more "square" sidewall was rubbing on friend's BRZ (slightly). |
Beautiful rims! Looks great on there.
|
Nice set up you got there, good lookng wheel and tire combo and your car looks great!
|
Topic merged with the other about the same wheels, same specs.
|
So happy i got these for my car! They suit it sooo much. Getting the black version put on my silver 86, should be next week when they come in.

im thinking of getting the same thing for my RAVEN.. but i still havent seen a pic of one anywhere... i wish i knoew how to use photoshopp |
Yep, definitely getting these wheels in mirror cut face... so sexy!! Plus they're relatively light and don't cost a million dollars. Hurray!
|
I'm going with 18x8 +44 Volk CE28N with 9mm Spacers out back to match the front and rear sink. Lightweight FTW! 14.7lbs per wheel apparently. 245/35 Continental DW for rubber.
These look great the interlagos look great though! |

Lowered on KW V3 Coilovers. Here is my build thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26894 Trav |
Excellent. I think I'm definitely getting these wheels when my BRZ comes in. Just want a slight spacer to bring them more flush with the wheel wells. I wish they'd offer these in the same sizes they do for 5x114.3 :(
|
Couple of questions for you guys that have these wheels with the 225/40/18 tires:
1.) How's the ride quality (both before and after the drop)? 2.) How's the handling characteristic of the car compared to stock? 3.) Is there room for BBK setup? Thanks in advance.. |
Firestorm with TSW
Just wondering if anyone has the TSW Interlagos (Black or Silver) with a Firestorm. Please post if you do! Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Its actually not so hard to do myself...Hopefully this helps other Firestorm owners Thanks to the other TSW posting for the car pic. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BJUEgcmCAAAxa0m.jpg:large |
Center Bore
For those who have got Interlagos did you need a hub ring to make them hub centric?
Apparently the hub size is 72mm and our FRS is 56.1mm. Which is a significant hub ring. |
Couple of technical questions if you don't mind:
How far down are you from stock in these pictures? (chassis ride height change please 'cuz 225/40/18 is slightly taller than OEM 215/45/17) Also, what are the camber specs front and rear as you are currently set up? (for starting point/reference because different camber settings will affect the relationship between the top of the tire/wheel and the top of the fender lip) Thanks! |

First time purchasing after market wheels so I just want to make sure I have everything covered... I'm at stock height (for the moment)...Do I need spacers, hub ring or anything else to make this setup perfect? I like a flush setup but doesn't have to be exact Any help is appreciated! |
