2016 BRZ Options??
Hey all, recently I've been looking into getting a new 2016 BRZ but i'm not sure on what options i should get is the S pack worth it or should i just save my money and not worry about it. Here is a print screen of what i'm looking at getting on the BRZ (http://prntscr.com/cmw8yt). Now another thing is i wont be making the purchase until late October so is it worth just waiting for the 2017 model to come out or not. I'm not 100% sure when the 2017 Brz is being released in Australia so if anyone else knows that would be great.

November release date for oz

Awesome thanks heaps. Might just wait for that to come out then, have they released a price on one yet or not?
|
No price released yet but I imagine it wouldn't be cheaper than the current 2016 $38K price...

6k for mostly cosmetics? not a chance!

Wait for '17 model and buy a performance pack. Personally I would keep the vehicle as is and purchase better tires after you have burnt through the first set. |

Do some searching and research first. Keep in mind mods will affect your warranty if you are buying new... |

As for Exhaust i don't recommend the N1. Everyone gets it because of its low base note and its cheap but it drones constantly and the tone doesn't get better over time IMO. I prefer the Perrin, WORKS ABM, FT86 Speedfactory or Nvidia Q300 for exhausts. But yeah as per your original post. Don't do the S package. You can get effectively all the same upgrades aftermarket for about 3k-4k including new tires. Personally i'd wait till the 2017 is released and then buy a 2016. The prices gets knocked down a few thousand usually and you can use the money you save on mods. |

Yeah i'm definitely not going to go with the S package anymore after seeing aftermarket ones cheaper. Thanks for your help |

Also remember different types of headers will give you a slightly different rumble note as well. TJ hunt has the N1 with Tomei headers if you wanna scope him out for sound. I'm going to do a sound clip of mine when i get my headers installed. I have the WORKS AB (non muffler) exhaust and Midpipe and i got the Openflash Headers. They will sound suuuper different. Also Catback exhausts tend to be a tad louder than Axlebacks. I went for the note hence why i like my WORKS AB |

Nice! Yeah you shouldn't have much drone. The Q300 is known for having less drone. You will be happy with the Tomei headers they sound really good. My channel is http://www.youtube.com/c/xxyion86 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
