so FINALLY I got it, and within 10 mins, I already have done LED conversions on most places, which I will do a writeup on when I get a chance.

Looks like its mounted with 3M double sided 1in x 1in squares. That's how I mount my license plates anyway - no ugly drill holes.

Double sided tape guys.
When I get a chance I'll do the DIY's, I took heaps of pics of how to remove/replace all the bulbs etc, didnt take long, its all pretty simple. |

Coilovers on Friday, and these rims may end up going on for the time being, cos i dislike the stockies... I want some Work CR Kai's in the same colour, but I havent found any yet. Also will be getting some semi slicks.. So theres probably no slidey for me.. OK, today was a big day of more mods for the StreetFX project 86!
With only 100kms on the clock, the car got the following - interior and exterior protection, tinting, coilovers, rims and tyres... Firstly the car went into Solarstyle Window tinting :) (who also tints for BMW Brisbane pre-delivery, so you know their work is top notch, plus Shannon's a really friendly guy with attention to detail and care for your car). Thanks to Solar Style, the 86 now has Mirror tint, Gtechniq Exterior protection and full interior protection.. If anyone has any questions in regards to the interior/exterior/tint, shoot me a PM and I can put you in touch with the guys at SolarStyle. (YES 9.5" on the FRONT!), No rub, no guard rolling, completely stock! if mirror/chrome tint is legal then i'm all for it. i think it's legal but it would have to be really light tint.
EDIT: yup! they're not legal....:sigh: I got this from NSW RTA's Vehicle Standards Information Rev. 3 - July 2003 so not sure if changed since then...:iono: |
