Who is over 100,000 miles?

Saw some parts on ebay from a 2013 car with 93,000 miles on it.

Who else has that many miles?
Any issues with the car?
What kind of maintenance and repair have you had to do?

gt86ser 06-29-2016 11:08 AM

My 2013 still has 29k miles.

I will contribute to this thread in about 40 years time judging by the snails pace I am clocking mileage on my car!

FX86 06-29-2016 11:42 AM

i'm only at 21000+ but it's a 2015...no where near 100K

finch1750 06-29-2016 11:52 AM

@Tcoat @BlaineWasHere @whataboutbob

I will be there in less then a month (and only that long cuz Im going out of town for a week and a half for work and wont be driving)

jasonojordan 06-29-2016 11:59 AM

Im like most here I just eclipsed 31k on my 2013. I only drive it about 5 months out of the year. I have other vehicles for the colder months and trips that more then just myself are going on.

tumbla.jr 06-29-2016 12:07 PM

... 2015 58K

slow86 06-29-2016 12:19 PM

2013 still at 3100 miles.

I'd love to get another to daily drive it like there's no tomorrow. I'd get over 100k miles easily in a couple years!

metalmoses 06-29-2016 12:22 PM

I have 63k on my 2013, so far she runs like a top.

I'm a little short of 100K. Last time I did the calculations (based on avg miles driven per day) I will hit it on 2/28/2017.

There are a couple of other threads on this exact topic (higher mileage cars, issues).

So far, I've had no mechanical issues, all maintenance has been standard.

CAMBAM_6 06-29-2016 12:38 PM

2013 at 71k. No mechanical issues. I just need to change my brakes and clutch/flywheel due to wear and tear.

What is wrong with your clutch and flywheel?

finch1750 06-29-2016 02:13 PM

Mine is a 2013 with 99xxx miles (picked up day 1 of release)

Last 15k I had idle issues when coming to a stop but that seem to have been resolved (hopefully) with my new OFT. The early tunes seem to not be the greatest and OFT uses the newest roms for their maps and its helped a lot so far.

I'm also getting blowby. Just ordered Radium dual catch cans to help with that issue. Wont be sure how much blowby but there is enough to feel a thin coat with my finger in the pcv and breather tube lines after semi-hard driving.

Clipdat 06-29-2016 02:44 PM

My 2013 is just about to hit 16k miles.

2013 - 27xxx miles
it was 19600 when i purchase, driven for about 7 months.

joe strummer 06-30-2016 02:12 AM

My 2013 doesn't have even half that. But it still has more miles than my 2000 SC300.

I thought that was the question.

We are kind of diluting this thread aren't we ...... ??

I mean if my tires were the correct ratio I'd be over 100k but instead I always speed and my mpg sucks a bit when calculated.

Thats what every thread becomes lol. I answered his question by tagging the only 3 users I know of past that mark so its fair game now.

I mean its not like similar threads dont pop up every other week about mileage. Though I will give credit for a more narrowed question focusing on 100k+

RichardsFRS 06-30-2016 08:28 AM

51k on my 2013. I bought it with almost 44k. I've noticed my ebrake doesn't grip as tight as it should. Little roll after its engaged. Probably needs adjusting. That's really it

We can start talking about the merits of Cadbury Flakes?

choiboie 06-30-2016 11:31 PM

2013 with 52k so far no issues

brz11b 06-30-2016 11:40 PM

2013 just under 30k

Tt3Sheppard 07-01-2016 12:02 AM

These cars are holding up well based on the few high mileage examples.

Forgive @humfrz. He is old and doesnt know it's too much to expect people to actually answer the question that was asked instead of getting answers that belong in the 100 other mileage threads. Old folk like him don't get that the internet doesnt care

Hahaha, thanks, but it's likely that I'm older than he is. We're all just looking for order in the universe.

ericmpena 07-01-2016 05:29 AM

58k on my 2013. July will be 3 years of owning my car...so I'm averaging 20k a year.

Yep, back-in-the-day, if you got on a party line and started babbling about something that wasn't relevant to the gossip at hand ....... you got .... :flame:

Ahhhh good old party lines. They were the Facebook of the analog phone system. I even got a date with a random stranger off a party line once.

There are probably about 10 people on here that even have a slight clue of what we are talking about.

I love how even after we addressed like 3 times that everyone is failing to focus on the question, we continue to post who has 27xxx miles. You guys are some kind of special.

Yes Internet, we know we failed you years ago and are beating that dead horse till it'll blend nicely with my safe space smoothie

It doesn't help that this is at least the 6th "who has high miles and what problems have you had" thread.
Silly question anyway since the way I drive for the 100K is not the same as how others do and the issues or lack there of is irrelevant. If we all drove exactly the same under identical conditions then ya there could be some value.

Heck, we can't even sort out who has over 100,000 miles on their car, let alone:

% of track miles
% of autoX miles
% of highway miles
% of city driving miles
% of spirited driving miles
% of learning how to drive a stick miles
% of (other)

Then we could sub-set each with problems/repairs ....... oh, never mind .....:eyebulge:
