POST YOUR FASTEST GT5 NURBURGRING TIMES....
Hey Guys,
Hope no one has already set up a thread for this but here goes..... - State Fastest time... - Car you did it in... - How far you had gone tuning wise... - Tires you picked... - Lap fastest time was done in (Gives an idea of tire condition, probably not important to most)... - Add any details you feel are important that i missed... This is not so much who has the fastest speed (although it kinda does) but more about the fastest person in certain cars.... ONE RULE!!!!! NO AIDS/ASSISTANCE ON!!!... NONE...... NOTHING...!!!:thumbdown::hitcomputer: NEW EDIT/UPDATE: Hey OG's..... Remember this thread LOL.......... Time to get back onto the GT5.... Hope some of u old members and all the noobs are keen to get onboard.... Going to leave the original post up just to not confuse what the thread was originally..... So NEW rules are: - Has to be an 86...... Can be the AE86,FT86,FRS but there will be sub categories for each..... - Has to be the standard Nurburgring Nordschleife...... - Tires must be race hard. Lets keep it a bit slippery.... - To simplify stuff lets make it fully tuned cars including all upgrades other than wing, thats optional BUT report it with ur time if u do have it...... - RED times can be mentioned but dont count to getting a placing....... - State which lap it was.... - Again add any details you feel is important..... - As before picture must be supplied of screen if its a top 3 time otherwise not necessary..... - Mention the PP level of the car u picked... - Its up to ur discretion if u want to provide pics of ur suspension set up..... - No assistance allowed.... NONE!!!!....... Also guys this is open to change and criticism.... If i can make this thread better let me know...... So..... Start ur engines turds lets race.... Ow and if anyone wants to do group races at certain times as a community post it and ill put it under all this... Anyone can cheat some way or another but its not about that.... Its just fun gaming amongst a great community.. If u did something to ur car to have a big advantage share it with us so we can keep this thing competitive and fair.... U will be credited as the one to think of it anyway.... Also mention the PP level of the car u picked... Up to ur discretion if u want to provide pics of |

My 1st run 8:57:617 Siliva S13 (bought it new) Stock.. 167bhp/1140kg 1st lap (Spun once :( ) Medium sport tire Guess my 1st mod will be suspenssion :) |

Cuz for Nur, gotta change the suspension & gear ratio more than other track, it's hectic for me. I prefer 2~3mins track more than Nur... but that's just my 2 cents |

I did alot of thinking :lol:before making the thread... The reason i chose Nurburgring is because of its length and surface difficulty.. When u do a lap that roughly is 7 minutes long u become fatigued... Its one thing to do a 2-3 minute lap and know every little bit of cornering to get u there.. But with Nurburgring u can forever be finding slightly better lines which i think makes for more fun competition and lets face it, who can remember every turn of Nurburgring!!! I reckon i've got about a 3rd memorized if that!!!... Also i agree it much more fun doing up a normal car and pushing it to its limits than using an already race ready car.. Thanks for the results, keep them coming......... |
Prior time in my Gsport FT86 was a 7:04
My NSX is faster than my Gsport, so I'll get some Time Attack times down today to post up. My most driven cars I will do a Time Attack on the Burg and post up. GSport NSX 350z Integra Type R I enjoy driving street cars more than race cars. Anyone can be fast in a race car, but it takes time to tweak Street cars and make them fast. So, all post should be in street cars. RM cars are not Street cars... |

I got something for that IX Evo. I'll tweak my RM STI and Evo and try a 6:xx run. My GSport runs 7:04 though. I think I got another second or two I can squeeze out of it soon as I tweak it some for better turn in. |

6:59:071 EVO IX GSR RM '05 Race Soft tires Full Mods 517hp/1080kg 1st lap... No Assist.. Car felt great but stuffed up plenty.. really wanna be competitive against the WRX/EVO competitors here. Great car for the track.. Sucks i cant go online with GT5 though. Reckon the car has atleast another 5+ second in it...... |

Yeah and you also are in a Race Car, and the NSX Type R is a street car....:) I haven't bought it yet, but a potent car that's not a race car "per say" is the ZZII. That thing is a MONSTER! Honestly though, I really didn't realize the Type R was THAT fast...I know its quick, just not that quick... I reached about 187mph on the back straight. |
HAHA never claimed it wasnt a race car LOL..... But the NSX is MR so somewhat of a supercar arguably. Street supercar.. Anyway til i buy one and get even close to ur time it dont matter.....:respekt:

My 3rd run (This time I switched to racing tires)

I see everytime I go for a time attack, my time counter is white for the 1/3 of my lap, then it turns into red color? anyone know what it mean? it just happen at different times (sometimes with 1 min and smothimes withen 3 to 4 min of my lap time?) I know my times are slow compeared to yours, but I wanna see where I can max out on an old rwd car (thu I bought it new from nissan dealer, and now has 80 kms od :P ) once I see that my car is maxed out, I'll run with a better car :D |
Dude im all for u trying to destroy Nurburgring with an S13... Eventually ill get an S13 to have a crack at ur time with similar mods...
Thats why i started this thread and thats what its all about... Great to see...... As for the red times... It means u have been flagged for that lap (I THINK)... Meaning u have cut a corner/impacted barrier etc etc...... I personally accept RED TIMES to count.... Officially its a fouled lap but we cant be to full on about these times until later on down the track when times get really close between certain people(I THINK ANYWAY)... Otherwise it would be all out race car times which bores me... I considered saying everyone has to post proof of there laps etc but that takes the fun out of it... I know no one but a cock head is gonna state a 'fake' lap....... I hope most agree... In regards to White/Red times if u feel its important sure notify in ur info times but for me i dont care how u got from A to B... I just wanna know the car/time/stats etc lol........ For the record ALL my laps posted have been RED times.... However in regards to my EVO IX time i did back to back it today with a 'White' (Approved) lap time being a 6:59:XXX |

(This time I added stage 3 turbo kit and a rear wing.... looks ricy but it do work :P ) 7:42:680 (White time, and previous run was 7:59:883) Siliva S13 306bhp/1135kg Mods: I/H/E, stage 3 turbo kit & Racing suspenssion (11f, 9r) 1st lap Soft Racing tires I think I can shave another 6~8 sec with the same setup as I was braking too early with the new power output |

In regards to cars based on class i agree maybe do an MR class, FR over 400hp etc etc .. I planned to see how many people would be keen on contributing to this thread and maybe if the number were high enough open another thread eventually.... I think its way to early for it though and could be a bit complicated. Really all you could do is MR FF FR RR class then have..... Actually the more i think about it would be way to difficult and complicated.... LOL |
