July 17th is the 2nd track day in this series. We only take 55 people divided into 4 run groups. This is important because it allows the maximum amount of time for all participants throughout the day.

It makes for an ideal environment to explore your and your cars limits in a fun / safe and controlled environment.

Aiming to break the 1:40s this time around!

It's not that hard to hit the 40s - just be smooth and look ahead! You've got a great platform - use it wisely!

I need to get a frikkin' roll bar... I wanted to hit 1:43 so bad this year.

Hey Will, do you know if SPDA will be running 2 kink or 1?

Definitely 2 in the morning, if there is enough requests and appropriately skilled drivers we could potentially open up the straight away in the afternoon for some groups. It worked well last year on one of the days!

@wparsons my vote is 2 kink all day to keep attacking at my times :)

I won't bring it up then :D It'll be 2 kinks unless someone suggests removing the one on the straight (turn 1 kink will always be there, per CTMP safety rules)

Going to need all the time I can get if I want to hit 1:40.x haha
Or I can just run 1 kink and shave 6 seconds off hmm...

@infinity21 8/100 of a second :'( I'm going to cry myself to sleep now. I'm pretty sure you did your 140.5 in the same lap I have recorded here.

The fastest lap I did in that session was 1:41.3 so you pulled on me :)

I got into the 1:41's with Harry's without the external GPS antenna.. I hear it could be + or - 1 sec.. so mebbe it was actually 1:40??

@Skurj It's actually close to +/- 0.10 with 1HZ apparently based off of the calculation uses...that's if you believe the harry's literature ;)

Stock + RE71R's in the stock size.

Well close to stock.. Whiteline adjustable front bar at stiffest, and re71's in 225, rest is oem, apart from the usual crash bolts.

The bar has had a huge impact.

I find that interesting, mine still understeers too much and I have more rear biased springs, stock sways and more camber up front.

It works be interesting to see if the gps makes a large difference. My datalogger gps runs at 25hz.

I dunno the sense of it Wil, but it could be the balance provides more confidence.... though I have also heard that with limited camber the next best thing is to stiffen it up...

Either way it has really worked this year. If I bring it out Sept 10 ( or that davenport charity day AUg 21), if you are there you are welcome to give it a try and compare.

I guess that's a really good reason, with way less camber the stiffer bar will be keeping more tire on the road.
