license plates arriving
 

just got mine in on 7/3 I purchased on 6/3.. i've never received plates in cali this quickly!

put my rear one on, the dealer didn't drill my front so i'm leaving it empty until the law gets involved:mad0259:

on another note who's getting vanity plates

Nope, I've had these since I had my 240sx (then EVO 8, then Tacoma) so I just have to wait on registration to clear and to get my new month and year stickers.

still haven't received mine bought on 5/31...

Yeah I was told it's gonna take a bit to get my plates. All I have is my first months bill so far. :P

Have my plates, haven't put them on yet. lol

Got my Frs 6/2 and no plates its a nice though cause it makes my car look new still lol

Nevermind spoke to soon got my plates right after I went back to work but I do love the letter and numbers I got on my plates :thumbup:

Got mine 6/12, got my plates around 6/27 or 6/28 ish (few days after registering). Planning on getting vanity plates soon :D

Ordered my vanities a month before having the car; 6 weeks after having it, ot my regular plates and am still awaiting word on the new ones. :)

I just got mine today, picked up the car 5/31. Ordered custom plates about 3 weeks before I got the car but those haven't come in yet.

Wow it looks like it takes a while before vanity plates come in huh? I better get to ordering lol :bonk:

The site said 90 days, estimated. /shrug

I got mine in about 30-45 so about a month, month and a half. Of course since i got mine over 6 years ago things may have changed.

Holy crap, my plates are here already. Took less than a month. I'm shocked.

Grimmspeed also makes one. I like theirs a bit better, it offers more room for adjustments.

I'll put mine on eventually.

Ha! Same here, bought the car May 31st and got the plates the June 30th, exactly a month. Also bought the Grimmspeed mount, but just ended up installing the rear plates. Couldn't bring myself to muddle up that front with a license plate! I guess I at least have a fix if/when I get my fix-it ticket :thumbup:

Got mine on 6/1 and the regular plates came a few days ago, so about a month. Ordered vanity plates a couple of days after I got the car, and still waiting. The web site said 8 to 12 weeks for those plates to come, I hate waiting that long...

I just got my car on 6/19 so no plates yet, BUT I was thinking about getting custom plates but every time I think of something good it's taken...

So, my GF was looking at my registration and under make it is listed as Toyota??? Anyone else's reg say the same thing?

I had my plates for about 15 days. I think I am going to put on my back and order the grimmspeed and add it if/when I have to :)

got my plates june 6. it's been a month and i have not installed them yet! lol

Got my car 6/1. Plates arrived 3 weeks later. Just put the rear on today. No holes drilled in the front bumper, and I don't know where (I threw) the front bracket, so that plate is in the trunk for now. Will do one on the tow hook eventually.

My non custom plates end in "86", so I'll probably keep them. Plus with the way I drive, I don't need my car to be easier to identify/report!

Dunno why you all want the license plate so early so bad.. I got mine about a 3 weeks after i got my car, it is still sitting in my trunk, I intend to use the full 90 days before i HAVE to put it on, or I'm thinking since this car is really new and some are on waiting list til next year march, i plan to push my luck til a cop pulls me over, worst case a fix it ticket.

I got my car on June 21st and got the plates today. WTF! lol. Probably not getting vanity plates anytime soon, don't need my car to be identified/remembered that easily.

Plan on using Euro plate on the front and using the legal plate on the back :X

No registration paperwork yet but I did get a nice reimbursement check for my last truck payment.

FTW guess you'll have to rebadge and make it legit! I'm brz so i cannot confirm interesting though.

Thats what I said. Lol. I made another thread and scions are all listed as Toyota I guess. But it for sure gets rid of any rice factor whatsoever to rebadging. :D

Bought mine on 06-02 and my plates came in almost exactly a month later. still haven't put them on, though. Gotta go to AAA and swap out my new plates for my old vanity ones. My FR-S will have H<3TLPRD status then. ;D

Don't plan on installing the front plate till I get issued a fix-it ticket, but I have my Grimmspeed mount for if/when the time comes. :thumbsup:
