Addicted to Reese's PB Cups

Today I realized something. I am way too addicted to these things. I checked my bank account this morning, and realized all the $0.85 charges have equaled over $45 in the last couple weeks. Keep in mind these are 2 packs. I don't even wanna do the math for how many peanut butter cups that is.

They are just sooo good. I think I need an intervention :bonk:

I saw a cake the other day topped with those little nuggets of heaven at a favorite lunch spot. I almost blew my shorts up like that dude in "She Out of My League".

Sugar is the most common "drug". It makes you feel good, you can get addicted to it, and have withdrawals from it. That's close enough for me.

Recently, went on a kick to stop putting sugar in my coffee. A pot of coffee, times 2-3 teaspoons per cup, is a ton of sugar.

Good luck!

Is no one else bothered by the fact that hype didn't want to do the math for how many Reeses he's eaten when he was all the necessary info right here?!?!

You have eaten ~106 PBCs hype. How does that make you feel?

Which, assuming "couple of weeks" is indeed 14 days, works out to 7.57 cups per day or .31 cups per hour if he didn't sleep, and .46 cups per hour if you figure the average sleep period of 7.7 hours taken from a 2014 Bureau of Labor Statistics poll.

Now, if you take only 10 working days over a 2 week period, with a US average work/commute time of 8.9 hours per day, that works out to 1.19 cups per hour, which is kind of scary.

He can't eat them while working/commuting?
This whole data stream is skewed and in question now.

Reverse that, only eats them while at work. Sort of like how I generally only post here while at work. Along with others.

Youre not alone. I know these are my dad's weakness as well haha.

soulreapersteve 06-09-2016 08:39 PM

At work, we have a candy jar at the front desk that gets raided everyday. Like a unicorn, the peanut butter cups rear their heads and gets gobbled up by the lucky person to spot it fast enough.

Kiske 06-09-2016 08:44 PM

Gas station next to my shop sell the white ones 6 cents cheaper! I know!

themadscientist 06-09-2016 10:59 PM

That's racist!

MrDinkleman 06-10-2016 12:26 AM

If you like dark chocolate, Trader Joe's sells dark chocolate peanut butter cups as well as a Belgium Dark Chocolate peanut butter cups.

Captain Snooze 06-10-2016 01:15 AM

I tried those Reece's Cups once. The inside is nothing like peanut butter. Then again, the peanut butter we get is is just ground peanuts with no added anything.

There's your mistake. Never expect American mass-produced food to be anything like what it's supposed to be.

I mean, do y'all got Taco Bells down there?

Not to the best of my knowledge but I was staying in Bishop, California quite some time ago and had Taco Bell a couple of times after a few drinks. Yeah, it was kinda ordinary. I also went to a Mexican restaurant, run by Mexicans, and the food there was not like anything I had tried before.

hypebrz 06-10-2016 04:09 PM

For what it's worth, a "couple of weeks" is just shy of a month lol, not 14 days. I don't think I'm that obsessed but who knows for my future!
