East Bay Caravan to Summer Kickoff
 

Time for caravan planning! Seeing as how there are multiple routes people for different parts of East Bay can take. We are split between 880 to 580 route for anyone in the Oakland/Alameda area and the 880 to 680 route for anyone in the Fremont/Union City area.

Now the big question is: which route for East Bay do we want to take and where is everyone coming from for this general area.

Trevor mentioned Dublin as a meeting point also which could be a good area.

As Nate stated above East Bay is quite a large area, I highly recommend having people meet up around the Dublin area because Summer Kickoff will be a straight shot going East on 580 towards Livermore.

If anyone in the alameda/Oakland area wanna meet before we meet up with the rest of the group we can pick a spot to get together also

And anyone in Fremont/Union City area can meet at the union landing area first and go to Dublin for a bigger caravan.

I'm down, I'm a few miles away in San Leandro.

@dsteezy86 @thecarfilmer you guys need to setup a plan from your side because it looks like south bay will be rolling into the fremont area which is easier for me and my friend. All up to you guys if you want to roll into the south bay caravan because it looks like sf caravan will be joining with south bay along the road too

If theres people from North Bay heading down this way, I think somewhere along Oakland would be a decent spot for us.

I know theres the old Walmart on Hegenberger Road that closed a while ago. Huge parking lot to hold a good amount of us

We can do that! Since we'll be arriving in the morning there will literally be no one there. There's also a Walmart off of Davis street with a huge parking lot FWIW.

OH theres a Costco off Davis St! Maybe that'll be a better spot.

Yes that sounds good! Middle for everyone and easy access. What time should we all meet?

What time should we get to the show by? It takes 45 min to get from Costco to the lake.

Depart Costco at 9 or earlier? 8:45?

I'll be at the kickoff, but I don't know exactly what time I'm leaving Alameda and probably won't be at the meet right at 10am, so I'm not going to be joining any caravans.

We can potentially meet at the Davis Str. Costco in San Leandro, then meet with the SouthBay Caravan @ 8am at the Fremont Costco off of Auto Mall. :)

between 7-7:30. Ill be there at 7:15. We leave to fremont at 7:30 and get there by 8.
