I was noticing outside of my work yesterday that 15 of about 20 cars parked outside were SUVs. I guess the drive through are being designed for such vehicles. :(

Yea, noticed that too, but like others I consider it a good thing!

Besides, in my last DD the driver's side window was "unpredictable" when closing (particularly in the wet) in its last 100K miles, so I got used to pulling forward enough to get out. Annoys the heck out of people behind you though (just an extra added bonus).

I noticed the same thing. My fix? Stop the car in front of the ATM, get out, and use it standing up instead of killing my arm trying to hit the damn buttons. Sure, it looks weird, but at least it works!

Which reminds me, I'll have to do that today before I head out for the night!

I was thinking the same thing, as I haven't had any problems. Perhaps our ATMs are just shorter around here?

I am 173cm tall, meaning something like 5'8"
I may get cash, reach the card slide, but hard to insert a card and impossible to get a receipt.
The seat is positioned at the lowest though.

How is the driving with the seat lowered to the ground? is it easy to see in the front, without having to raise the chin up??

Step 1. Stop the car before the ATM.
Step 2. Get out of your car.
Step 3. Use ATM.
Step 4. Return to car.

Totally used to this from driving my MR2... same thing with fast food drive-thrus. Fatties need their SUV's!

In my lowered Miata with hardtop, it's near impossible. Even fast food places are mostly out of reach. They're all designed for SUVs it seems.

Going from my Miata to the BRZ, I feel MUCH taller! That's not saying a lot for a car claimed to have a low center of gravity and low seating position, and my Miata could easily come down another inch.

Even in my stock Mitsubishi sedan I have issues with ATM's, its annoying, but I never blame it on the car. I blame it on the fat ass Americans that can only fit in huge SUV's so the banks/fast foods places have to accomodate. Of course if they didnt accomodate Jesse Jackson or some other asshole would turn it into a class action lawsuit for sure. So blame the fatties, not the BRZ's.

Don't use drive-thrus. So that you can enjoy the looks of the car when walking back towards it!

If you guys think the OP is being dead serious that he is upset about this you guys need to get real. I'm willing to say he's right there with the rest of us saying that it's a good thing that this car's this low.

This won't bother me, since I actually get out my car to use an atm. I'm not that lazy to get money. :D
