NESW20 03-17-2011 03:59 AM

looks great!

xantonin 03-17-2011 04:06 AM

Looks interesting. I see they like LED strips too.

I still prefer the Toyota one but I think this one looks like a better fit for Subaru.

Kage 03-17-2011 04:17 AM

Meh, I'll take the scion if the subbi looks like that.

[es vi: eks] 03-17-2011 05:35 AM

It does not look good.

Zenrael 03-17-2011 05:53 AM

Looks like some sort of Pontiac GTR thingy. In my opinion, it's ugly.

I don't think it looks bad... :iono:

Shevon 03-17-2011 07:28 AM

Thats a little too generic but decent though like i keep saying concept one was more pure and looked more production ready than concept two and this rendering

Dragonitti 03-17-2011 09:05 AM

Not to bad. I kinda like that

Zaku 03-17-2011 10:31 AM

....sorta generic.... if they have something like that it will look years behind the new Impreza concept :/

Fortunate Few 03-17-2011 01:15 PM

sorta want....

but the concept II toyota looks better imo

this spoiler is 10 times less ugly though.

FT-86GOD 03-17-2011 01:24 PM

Awesome. Better than MK II

Shevon 03-17-2011 01:36 PM

if they had this rendering and the concept II on the market now i would go with the rendered look. a hole lot smoother imo

SUB-FT86 03-17-2011 03:03 PM

It looks okay to me but not aggressive like i like it.

Midship Runabout 03-17-2011 03:19 PM

This looks way better than the 2nd ft.

...MkI FTW though

gt-jerome 03-17-2011 03:52 PM

bigger, more expensive, 4 wheel drive = not for me :)

Who said, it's gonna be AWD? :iono:

Anyways, that pic is just rendering of current Subie models.

it will likely be the same size. why would it be more expensive? and it's not AWD, this should be clear from subaru's own wire-frame model they displayed at Geneva. where do you come up with any of this???

C-Bone 03-17-2011 05:42 PM

I like the mk2 way better than that rendering. The older ones were way better imo

Franisco 03-17-2011 06:44 PM

C I > This > C II

Want.FR-S 03-17-2011 07:42 PM

Did I get that right? The Sti version will come 2 to 3 months later after this is released? do we have confirmation that Subaru will put the Sti spin on ft-86? (although I think they should go for it)

Shown in the picture as a little burp....

matadormi5 03-17-2011 08:25 PM

Looks good...maybe it's the blue.
Near perfect balance of edginess and simplicity. For the estimated price range anyway.

Nope, it's not official... but my bet is it's gonna take longer than 2~3 months.

i've seen it here (in french) : http://www.caradisiac.com/Futurs-cou...cote-36187.htm

but it's a old post... maybe it has changed today

jmc 03-18-2011 02:56 PM

With a bit more anger thrown in, I think this Subaru would look perfect. As it sits now, I like the FT2 better than this Subaru.

RRnold 03-18-2011 04:33 PM

If this rendering was an actual model and the FTII was indeed a damn scion, I'd take the Subie any day of the week. The spoiler can be removed and plugged up but there they go with the LED strip and non functional side vents.

yeah, very old. the Subaru concept at Geneva was 100% rear-wheel-drive only. :) it's very likely that the only differences between the Toyota and Subaru variants are going to be cosmetic, with a slight difference in price depending on options.

c0rbin 03-19-2011 01:17 PM

This shit is just getting worse and worse...

MK1>>>>>>>>MK2>This

iff2mastamatt 03-19-2011 02:58 PM

I was hoping Subie could make something a little more flamboyant. It looks good for 2005, but this thing needs to be future proofed (style wise).

Mr.Jay 03-19-2011 04:48 PM

would like to see an ass shot tho
