I'll add you to the Sydney owners list :)

Looks like a GT, right? Manual or auto?

jonnyboy 07-02-2012 11:36 PM

Sweet! do you live around Annadale too?

Looks great parked on the street like that!

NSW registration plates are much smaller than what we're used to. Very elegant looking.

JDM, I see that you have a slimline front plate, do you know if there is a slimline bracket that you can swap with the standard size plate bracket or are they integral to the bumper? I'm interested in getting slimlne plates when my car turns up but not if I have to leave those larger brackets on

U can Modify the bracket to not be seen behind the plate... Its only plastic..

so its not an integral part of the bumper then (just to 100% clear)

FT-86GOD 07-03-2012 05:24 AM

I wish USDM cars came with this wheel. Instead, I will have to custom order it all.:word:

JDMSushi 07-05-2012 11:54 PM

If only they were an inch or two bigger!

And maybe wider haha

Way back in the day when I had my RX8, I had the slim line plates that the dealer fit over the fat plate bracket. Didn't like the look so removed the fat bracket and took a hacksaw to it and cut it down to just about 1mm smaller than the slimline bracket. I kept the slimline bracket attached to the fat bracket and stuck it back on the car. No need for extra holes in the slimlines. Worked well.
