Orange County 86 Meet
 

Hey everyone! So @mchasteen1 and I wanted to start up the meets again for the Irvine Tuesday Nights FR-S/BRZ Meet since the other one is now inactive and "disbanded". Hopefully we can get this thing back up on its feet and running again.

Rules:
No Reving!
No Burnouts!
No Racing!

Time: Tuesday @ 8:00PM

Location*: Boomers! Irvine

*Location is changing as we are attempting to discover new spots/locations for the meet. Please keep an eye out on our Instagram page for updates.

*These rules are put in place due to the last group, alongside with other groups being kicked out of the parking structure. The location IS subject to change due to the size of the club and whether or not the location is viable.

Never had a chance to come out to the other one as I waited and got my BRZ sometime after the meet had died down. Excited to hopefully have time to make it out to this one!

Hopefully! We kept it at the Tuesday 8PM time because it seemed like it was the best date and time for the old group.

I'll join. Work is right next door so i have no excuse.

FOR SURE, lower friendly, no speed bumps.

I will mention I used to hang out in the plaza back in my high school days. I know the campus police is right across the street, parking security is pretty anal (might have loitering issues), and...IPD.

*edit* Also, I remember there isn't much parking spaces around as the plaza is pretty popular...might be an issue as well.

going to UCI in the fall, might be around more often then. meanwhile, is there one next tuesday? i might come

UCI security can be pretty quick on the draw. I imagine it would be the same rules at DJ. Technically you can all park together but you cannot loiter in the parking lot, everyone must be at the plaza itself.

Ahh alright, darn. I'll try to see if I can find another location soon. I don't want to take your location with your group.

Theres always Boomers parking lot at Michelson/Harvard.

I guess I'll change the location to the Boomers parking lot.

I'd totally go, as I literally live 2 miles away.. But I don't have a FRS anymore lol

Just a heads up to everyone attending tonight. There are no food trucks by Boomers (like there used to be). This also means we might get kicked out.

Anyone with uel headers going tonight? Curious how it sounds in person.

I completely forgot about this, but happened to catch a glimpse on my way home from the gym and it was a pretty good turn out...would have stopped and said high but had to use the bathroom so i just drove home instead...

I might match you if you decide to bring it. My 94' Camry is still sitting at home because it refuses to die lol. I should alternate between that and my BRZ each week :bellyroll:

I installed Valenti Revo tail lights and a Dezod exhaust this week. Looking forward to showing it off Tuesday night.
