Ha! Got that beat. Taken Thursday in Atlanta while crawling in rush hour traffic. Right after this it went up to 119.

Anything in the midwest has been retarded this summer. At kentucky speedway we fried a few eggs on the the asphalt close to pit road.

Bought my BRZ in Reno. During drive home to Ann Arbor, MI - the outside thermometer hit 123 F near Badwater in Death Valley.

time for you guys to move to the west coast. 67* wind breezy today. http://www.weather.com/weather/right...ch+CA+USCA0764 :)

FRkane 07-17-2012 12:30 PM

that would mena we would have to miss all the great fun of winter!

genometuning 07-17-2012 07:17 PM

california is one of the only places in the US that you can go snowboarding and have a great day at the beach on the same day. infact I've done it before (although it was only to join friends for a beach barbeque and bonfire)

Lol, did you have to go that far to avoid Dunning mark-ups? ;)
I'm in AA too.
I'm driven through Badwater about 2 weeks ago (in a rental crap), and it was only ~118F.

BRAWL 07-17-2012 08:24 PM

3 digits you say? If we got that option in Australia I would be worried and it gets hotter here ;)

mechaghost 07-17-2012 08:26 PM

its quite gloomy here in Seattle with 70 degree weather

Dunning has a red brz coming by the end of the month. As far as I know - its not spoken for yet. Besides not wanting red - I wasn't too keen on paying over $700 for the paint and fabric protection.

Found the car I liked in Reno. I knew I would be in CA for a month with a business trip in the middle of the vacation. So - I returned from the business trip thru Reno. By the time I was ready to drive the car home - I had 1000 miles om the car. Drive home thru Utah and Colorado was awesome.

I ended up with a ~$300 doc fee which seemed not that bad given that Glendale, ca tries to charge a $5000 markup.

Do you know of anyplace around town that does 3m clear bra?

Thanks, brzce.

Why 3M? Seems like Xpel Ultimate is the way to go. I got VentureShield (3M bought it) on mine though and it seems pretty solid. I wanted Xpel Ultimate but there was a mistake made at the place that did it. :P

Check out xceedspeed, there are plenty of threads (down for maintenance atm, so can't give you exact link).

But then I'd hate myself for living in such an ass backwards failure of a state. No thanks.

I researched it pretty heavily on Autopia before I decided it was the one I wanted to get. It's pretty cool stuff. Hope you're happy with the end result with whatever you decide to get.

I think I have the record so far. This was a couple of weekends ago when the reported outside temp was just over 100:

Clearly not the most accurate readings ever. :D
