How much are you guys paying to fill your tanks?

Whether it be a gas saver.. or a money eater. How much do you cough up to top off your tank?

Whats your gas prices at?

89 (Unlead), 90 or 91(prem). :P

I'll start...

89

$35. At around.. 3.45 9/10

NESW20 03-03-2011 03:51 AM

roughly $60, but varies anywhere between $50 and $70. 87 octane.

ichitaka05 03-03-2011 03:53 AM

My car is tuned to have 91 or higher. Near my house Gas Station is bout $3.52 for Prem & I think, I topped it off around $46

NESW20 03-03-2011 04:07 AM

oh, i should mention that my MR2 really only likes 100 octane, so my fill ups in that are about $80. :(

Dark 03-03-2011 04:42 AM

$3.49 per 92 octane. I paid about 48-50 last time to fill up the tank.

Abflug 03-03-2011 04:44 AM

2,07 $ per liter (not gallon) 95 (euro)octan - thank you Gaddafi :paddle:

BoostJunkie 03-03-2011 07:58 AM

3.44/gal premium
So around 35-40$ a tank, thank go I work for ExxonMobil... Ha!

Siriusly.Andrew 03-03-2011 10:12 AM

$1.239/Litre or $4.68/gal
30.672 Litres or 8.1 Gallons of 87 Octane came up to $38.00 after taxes. For my Civic. Last cycle was 7L/100km or 33mpg with average temp of -32C/-26F

$7.82 / Gal
Sorry mate, thats ridiculous.

EDIT:: had wrong octane. Changed to 87 from 89.

RRnold 03-03-2011 11:23 AM

I just filled up my Taco the other day! Shell Premium $3.99/gallon and it came out to $68

Not to bring in politics but it's about time there is a humanitary uprising in the Middle East!!

4agze 03-03-2011 03:57 PM

91 $3.80 @ costco

70NYD 03-03-2011 05:39 PM

1.50/L for 98 means my tank cost 80..
Dunno what you yanks complain about that's like 5.70/gal and it's been like that for ye past 2 years
Our 91 is 1.30/L so 4.90/Gal

BootpTraphik 03-03-2011 05:47 PM

Usually around $65 to fill the tank when its near empty

87 (poison lol) @ $1.18/litre

no need for 92-94 ($1.30ish) octane in the winter, however my spring tune is gonna require at least 91, but you gotta pay to play right...

Giccin 03-03-2011 06:43 PM

I'm only using cheap-o gas because.. well its cheaper. lol Poison true.. but ya know.. my car doesn't really need the pricy stuff. :P

If gas saver car let you put low octane gas, I don't see anything wrong with it  but if it was sports car that require high octane, but you were putting low octane, then that would of been different story.

Of course! Selling my hamster car once the 86 comes out. :> I still have a savings from selling the Audi TTS. :3

Do you have a pic of TTS? Was it stock? If not what have you done to it? Sorry, I like TTS. My friend used to have TTS, but exchanged it to A5. It was a sweet ride

You realise that there are a lot of places where the price is similar to this right? Yet you American's are the one's that complain of 'expensive' petrol prices?

Another one - $2.07 NZD per LITRE - or about $9.1 per gallon (am I using the right conversion here lol? 4.4L/G? Edit: Why are UK and US gallon's different?!). (And the NZD - USD is [very roughly] .75 NZD/USD IIRC)

Yes, it does suck!

xantonin 03-03-2011 11:07 PM

About $14 on my bike.

Last fill up on my Celica was $46.88, premium, drove 403 miles.

I don't have any pictures of my TTS anymore. :< They were crappy pictures off a phone. Lol Its a 07' White TTS. Stock. I didn't have enough money to do any fancy mods to it.

Sold the TTS since I couldn't pay for the insurance nor the gas anymore. Lol

Then I bought myself a Yaris (slightly regret it). I too also really loved my TTS but damn my schooling. Lol

Yes, it does suck!

Indeed it does suck. I don't feel gouged at the pump like if I were in Europe or somewhere, but I don't get low prices like the guys in the States. With that, for the record, I'm not an American.

And its 3.79L per US Gallon

Midship Runabout 03-04-2011 12:43 AM

Its like 30 something to fill my tank. 87 no need for higher. I do prefer chevron gas though, I don't know why.

My friends keep telling me Cheveron lasts longer for some reason. Or stretches your mpg.

Then again, how much octane/gas you waste also determines how angry you drive. :bellyroll:

I just re-read my post, and it may have come across a bit..aggressive, I guess. It wasn't supposed to :)

I apologize, I didn't realise you weren't American either. I assumed the CA at the end of your location meant California. I was obviously wrong ;) Though it still applies that the American's shouldn't be complaining about their petrol prices!! :D

xantonin 03-04-2011 02:32 AM

I prefer Chevron myself.

Unfortunately my car has a higher compression ratio and does require 91 octane, right from the manual (and printed on the side of the gas door).

It is all good, and I agree -- they certainly have nothing to complain about price wise.

It may have come off a bit aggressive against the Americans, but I'm with you some what. The price difference between Canada and the States is still quite large, I pay about a dollar more per gallon for regular 87 octane than they pay for Premium 91+ octane. And they bitch "The prices are so damn high!". I constantly wonder how happy I'd be if I pulled up to the pump and it said $0.89 / Litre ($3.37 / gal)

RRnold 03-04-2011 02:06 PM

On my truck, I get more mileage when I use Shell compared to Chevron. All those fuel additives detergents (Techron) seems like a bunch of marketing b/s to me.

that may be true. I really don't care about the additives (my camry motor will drink anything)I really only go to chevron cause their facilities are generally a lot cleaner and better taken care of compared to say your local gas n go or whatever.

I agree that the facilities are good but are you really giving credit to a gas station based on that?

The 05+ Tacomas "recommend" premium but I've put 87 Arco water and noticed the difference. Now that the prices are rising, I don't really mind which station I use.

ichitaka05 03-05-2011 03:45 PM

I usually use Chevron or Shell. I rarely use other gas station. Nothing against other gas station, just prefer those to gas station more than others for some weird nature. lol

Dimman 03-05-2011 04:28 PM

Chevron gives us 94 octane here, whereas everyone else's premium is usually only 91 or 93. I think Shell's V-Power is 94 now too, but Chevron was first by years and is where all the serious turbo guys go.

Gas was $1.31/L here yesterday.

Giccin 03-05-2011 04:43 PM

I remember when... Gas/octane/Petrol was only.. 96¢ 9/10gal or.. .32¢ for a litre. Good days.. Lol

KLB 03-06-2011 04:02 PM

Gas is 4.07 premium over here in CA...

wow that's pretty high up there. Currently it's $3.57 here for me.

zenki_levin 03-10-2011 08:04 PM

In belgium it's $2.23 per liter :(

#87 04-04-2011 09:36 PM

Regular gas

3.95

17 gallon tank, about 15 per fill up

Just over/under $60

Honda Accord 4 cyl auto, getting pretty crappy gas mileage lately, not sure why.

matadormi5 04-04-2011 11:18 PM

I paid $4.13 for premium...it's ridiculous b/c my car requires premium and my commute is all city stop-and-go traffic 18-22 mpg average at best.

aliphian 04-05-2011 02:37 AM

Here in the armpit of California I am paying $4.10/gal for 87 octane. Premium (91 octane) is $4.30

That's 1.13/L in New Zealand Dollars and 1.10/L in Canadian Dollars for 91 octane.

serialk11r 04-05-2011 03:30 AM

2 weeks ago I came back from Socal on a trip, filled up at some gas station next to I5, and it was 4.50 a gallon for 87 O_O

Gearbox 04-05-2011 10:50 AM

premium @ 3.89 per gallon
cost me $62 to fill up... it sucks

EJ20 04-05-2011 12:55 PM

here in middle east it cost me $0.8 per gal for 97 oct :D
Used to fill my 86 for $6, almost same for my NA miata and GD impreza :D
and my 4wd car I fill it for $14
