So you still want a header? You aren't finished.
You should get camber bolts.

MisterSheep 03-03-2016 07:21 PM

Trust me... you're not done... No one is EVER done with a build. Theres always something that you will want.

Celica00 03-03-2016 07:24 PM

That's quite the modest checklist you have there.

Also, considering your dropped amount, aren't you concerned about getting more than just rear control arms?

yeah top hats or front camber bolts would be good.

roddy 03-03-2016 08:59 PM

LOL..."finished".

FR-Sky 03-03-2016 09:04 PM

Good job,,i spent 2k something just finished 20%

weederr33 03-03-2016 09:08 PM

I used to say I was "finished" but then I find something else. But that something else is more expensive, so I say I'm finished. But then I get more clientele so I can afford more things. It's its own black hole, my friend.:w00t:

Car looks great! The TS-10s have been my top prospect for a while and seeing them on your car has really cemented my decision.

You accidentally have a car in the background of the dog picture, just a heads up

I thought you were done?
Stock camber is not adjustable and is anywhere from 0-1 degree, most of the time very near 0.
For handling purposes in our sports car, camber is good. For a daily driver, 1.3-2.0 is a good starting point. Ideally you want more camber in the front than the rear. Your rear probably has 1.5 or so from lowering, while the front is less.

You should also get a side skirt to hide that scratch I see in your pic on the right side of the car. And a front lip to match. :D

I meant major/unneeded mods & Why do I NEED that? I dont see why i need more camber. What will it do?

You don't need it. But it is a sports car. Do you want sports car like handling? It does make a difference.

Smoke/semi smoked side markers would look really nice on your black car too. :D

MisterSheep 03-04-2016 07:07 PM

Poor guy wanted to tell us he's basically done with his "build"... and we're being assholes and telling him to buy more parts  the mod bug is addictive.

None of your mods are "major" and they are all "unneeded".
Swarb already clearly told you what it will do and why you should do it.
It is a relatively cheap and easy thing that will improve the car. Why only do part of the job and call it good enough when for a little more you can finish it and call it done right?

@Chase1996 to add to what others have said, here is a link that kind of explains what aftermarket camber bolts do and why they are beneficial.

http://www.phasteksport.com/2013-FRS...mber-81305.htm

Basically, when you lowered the car, the camber will be off (because the OEM camber bolt is "fixed") therefore the suspension geometry will be "off".

The fix is to put a different bolt in there, so as the camber can be adjusted a bit.

You're almost "done" ...... a couple of bolts and an alignment and you're good to go .....

You're not done:lol:.

DaJo 03-05-2016 03:22 AM

Heh, like all has already said. You're never ever "finished" with a build.

10k+ now and I thought I was done for good after all the exterior tS parts... Now I'm going to have to do some more under the hood and then work my way inside the interior...

You're NEVER finished.

Let's see how many times I can just use @swarb 's existing response to answer the questions.
This is two.

This is a good review:

For your DD, I'd suggest you just ask the alignment shop to put the front and rear within spec ..... maybe the camber a little on the negative side of the range.

I'd recommend maxing the camber in the front. I'm running -2.5F and -2R. I like it, but YMMV. Do some research and see what others say. Then, decide where to go from there. Unless you want us to spoon feed you more. I'd be much obliged.

Nah Hum no worries. As harsh as that may read it was intended more in jest than anything. Although it was of course also meant to make the point that the base info was already in front of him and he just needs to look a little further.
