No didn't feel they were necessary, I kept my stocks in the garage so the light would turn off anytime I came home. Mine only came on when I took long highway trips for some reason. Wheels come with everything but that.

In your pics, how much gap between top wheel well and tires? I'm assuming no rubbing of any kind? Also, was your FRS lowered? I'm looking at 18-inch wheels, but may consider the 19's.

My car was lowered on RCE yellows, don't remember how much gap but it wasn't much. If I had to guess I would say about 2 fingers if that with no one in the car. I didn't rub unless I hit a big dip and that only happened when I had a passenger.
